Every single healthcare system has its issues. You pointed out a flaw from the Canadian one. It’s not that it’s impossible to see a doctor but it does take a couple of months to find one and there are rare cases when that’s a big issue. However, what about pointing out at the issues in the US system? Refusal of coverage for certain conditions, some folks having to pay out of pocket for giving birth, and others.
The system needs to be fixed and ever since Reagan deregulated it, the free market worsened it. The private sector is absolutely pivotal, but I wish we could reach a nice balance between the 2 to address these problems. The ACA is a framework for that and I hope our politicians build on it to better healthcare in America. It’s badly needed.

I do, unfortunately, think Biden is going to win. But, D W is right. The election is technically over when all votes are cast, counted, recounted if necessary, any litigation is gotten out of the way, and the electoral college casts their vote.
