South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem says 2-year-old daughter ‘already has a shotgun’ #Shorts

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said her 2-year-old daughter "already has a shotgun" and "already has a rifle" during a speech at a NRA convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

During her 25-minute speech, the second term Republican governor spoke about how nearly 25 years ago, the NRA president at the time, Charlton Heston, in the face of recent school shootings had called on the federal government and federal prosecutors to go after gun violations amid calls for stricter gun laws opposed by the NRA.

The conference, including the leadership forum Noem spoke at, comes not long after two mass shootings in the United States, including a shooting at the Covenant school in Nashville, Tennessee, where three children and three adults were killed. Five more people were killed April 10 in a shooting at a bank in Kentucky.

    1. Here’s what the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms says is the law. Adults teaching children how to properly handle a firearm is not child abuse:
May a parent or guardian purchase firearms or ammunition as a gift for a juvenile (less than 18 years of age)?
Yes. However, persons less than 18 years of age may only receive and possess handguns with the written permission of a parent or guardian for limited purposes, e.g., employment, ranching, farming, target practice or hunting.

    1. As granny says “addie, soon will need them”. Probably by the time they’re 3 they will go to gun range. This is child abuse.

  1. Can someone call the social services to little miss Addie’s house and take her away from her parents ?!?!?

    1. @Shahryar Bhutto  not if they’re up properly.. I was raised in a house with all sorts of rifles and handguns and my dad locked them up properly. And I lived!

    2. @Sheila Banks Exactly! That person must live in a big city. They’d freak out if they came to Maine where the hunters love their whitetail deer. Guns in every other house. I broke up with my son’s father who was an avid hunter. I never gave a second thought to the guns at his father’s house. His dad was an absolute idiot but not when it came to the safety of other people.

    3. Why don’t you step up and call them? Then you could be educated on what the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms says is the law:
May a parent or guardian purchase firearms or ammunition as a gift for a juvenile (less than 18 years of age)?Yes. However, persons less than 18 years of age may only receive and possess handguns with the written permission of a parent or guardian for limited purposes, e.g., employment, ranching, farming, target practice or hunting.

  2. My two boys started shooting a 22 rifle when they were 7 and 8. Both can hit a bullseye from 50 yards away. 2A all day

  3. Calm down snowflakes it’s just a lawful citizen teaching her children how to one day protect themselves.

  4. *Making money is action, keeping money is behavior. Growing money is wisdom. I found this out a week ago after getting a $24,600 return on my $3,000 investment in 21 days💯💯.*

    3. I think a Good T/A like her will pay off more than random YouTube videos, a lot of YouTubers don’t actually care if you loose money, they just want more views and traffic

  5. If they gave their 1 year old daughter daughter a real shot gun or rifle, then they ought to be arrested. For child endangerment.

    1. Per the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Don’t like the law? I suggest you run for office and get it changed:
May a parent or guardian purchase firearms or ammunition as a gift for a juvenile (less than 18 years of age)?

Yes. However, persons less than 18 years of age may only receive and possess handguns with the written permission of a parent or guardian for limited purposes, e.g., employment, ranching, farming, target practice or hunting.

  6. They have it Ina safe don’t be crazy. This is a very well educated woman. I hope she will be first female president in 8 years!!
