South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol treated guests at the White House state dinner to a rendition of his favorite song "American Pie."

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden welcomed South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and South Korea’s first lady, Kim Keon Hee, to the White House for an official state visit on Wednesday to mark the 70th anniversary of the alliance between the two countries.

The bond between the United States and the Republic of Korea was formed at the end of the Korean War, a conflict that cost more than 54,000 American lives.
