lol censorship. cover up. dictatorship. Where are all the keywords?

    • Actually another attention seeker…she admitted that she had seen another photo that one of the medias had picked up…perhaps she would get her name and pic in the news…and she did. If she had been truly nervous about the corona, she would not have gone to school at all.

    • That’s how all schools are looking and they should all be closed but here what’s is reallly happening

  2. They are enforcing rules about taking pictures while saying they can’t enforce rules.

  3. Not cool. Good for her. Lots of “good & necessary trouble” needed right now.

    • That is excellent. John Lewis said, “make good trouble”. and you certainly did. Kudos to you

    • ABSOLUTELY!!!

    • Couldn’t have said it better myself. Well done.

    • She ain’t no John Lewis. Not the same at all. Actually another attention seeker…she admitted that she had seen another photo that one of the medias had picked up…perhaps she would get her name and pic in the news…and she did. If she had been truly nervous about the corona, she would not have gone to school at all.

    • @Mr P She had to let idiots like you know !!

  4. “Good trouble” sounds like the honourable late black senator.

  5. This makes me even more concerned about this. Sending my 4 year old to school only for him to get sick or get someone in the family sick

  6. Good for her – good trouble – we need more people like her – its heartening.

This was wrong. She and her parents should sue the school.

    • If they do your tax dollars will be paying for it. The guilty seem to never take any responsibility, which is why we are in this position where we have parasites in positions of power.

Silver Wolf enabling wrong because your worried about money doesn’t seem like the right choice. Granted the school was just doing what the health department gave them as a plan but who is at fault for calling out the plan isn’t really a plan, just let everyone get infected: the 15 year old girl or the super intendant for the district, the health department and Governor of Georgia? And who is the only one who received a consequence, the 15 year old girl who got suspended. Where is the consequence for the people in power because they deserve theirs and if it’s let go they will keep doing what they are doing.

    • @Marnie Grohs How am I “enabling wrong” when I stated the fact that they are not paying for it? No the school was NOT doing what health department gave them as a plan. They did not give them any plan they gave them guidelines which included distancing and masks. They did not enforce masks at all claiming they “can’t” all while being able to throw out any students wearing any political attire before they reach their first class. There are are no consequences because people would rather group up by the thousands to loot small businesses but no one apparently cares for their children’s future at all. If they hired anyone with a brain to manage that school they would have teachers rotate to different classrooms instead of having a mob of kids in the halls every hour.

    • Silver Wolf you said they shouldn’t be sued, her parents aren’t in a position to fire the superintendent. The only way to get him fired like he should be is to sue, and if they don’t, nothing will happen, nothing will change.

  8. This young lady is a hero. Kudos to her for getting in “good trouble” (I love her nod to the late great Congressman Lewis). I praise her bravery. These administrators should be ashamed.

Chances are that within the next 30 days, someone will have lost their child to this virus. Schools that have reopened in person, and the leaders they follow, will have the blood of children on their hands.

I hope and pray that my prediction is wrong.

  9. “We can’t enforce rules!”

A whistle-blower student draws attention to your bad actions…

“We are enforcing the rules for YOU!!”

There’s no practical way to enforce wearing a mask, but you’ll send a girl home in a hot minute for wearing spaghetti straps?? Give me a break!

Unlike Karens, I’ve never met a Hanna that wasn’t one hunnid.

  12. One word: Trash
So, you suspend her for that? Wearing a mask is a personal choice? Smh

“There’s no practical way to enforce wearing a mask”? You had no problem with suspending a student for having dreads

and ANY natural hair!! “distraction” my fanny! what about 60’s huge updos? the 70’s shaggy long hair? why are administrations so dense?

  14. Dear Hanna:
You just showed more courage, responsibility and common sense than the President of the US, _and_ a good part of the GOP senators.
Take care, stay safe, be proud.

We gotta get rid of Trump, these school administrators R following his sick leadership. God Bless us all, we need more Hanna’s, Blessings, Love is the answer

  16. “The school system is only using excuses”NoNo they did wrong, they must do something.

  17. School: You’re suspended
Girl who took photo: Thank you for saving my life.

When a kid has more common sense than the adults.

    • You’d be surprised how many “adults” are still just kids with an aged meat bag around them.

    • Actually another attention seeker…she admitted that she had seen another photo that one of the medias had picked up…perhaps she would get her name and pic in the news…and she did. If she had been truly nervous about the corona, she would not have gone to school at all.

    • @Mr P Admitting that she’s seen another photo like that in the media doesn’t mean anything. Calling her attention seeking because she didn’t decide to be a truant, makes you look like an idiot.
