Deputy Prime Minister Hon Reginald Austrie addresses ceremony to welcome the Hon. Prime Minister Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit back home. Hon. The Dominican Leader was awarded an honorary Doctorate from the Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in recognition of his leadership and advocacy on climate change.

FLAG DAY 2018

 

As part of the celebrations of Dominica's 40th anniversary of independence, Flag Day was held on Monday October 15, 2018 with a motorcade across the island. Chief Cultural Officer and Chairman of the Independence Committee Raymond Lawrence described the event as overwhelming.
