Giving those road criminals amnesty is the wrong message to send. They never even tried to pay $100 on any ticket they got. They need to go in and discuss a payment plan

These taxi drivers with outstanding traffic tickets why don’t they go and take their issue to court let the Judge decide what to do with them they are out of order and they have no regards for the law of the country. They are the cause of the mayhem we see on roads today. What should be happening is their licences suspended until they clear all outstanding fines and then sent to retake their driving test.

The amnesty dont pay less, it is the same amount on the ticket so why not support!
You need 7 million USD to fix the road up to standards.
Unsurprisingly, taxi driver reasoning is completely flawed.
Gun amnesty was to allow (mostly former legal firearm holders) to turn in their guns (tools of destruction) with no questions asked; not to absolve them of the murders they used those guns to commit. So, equivalent amnesty for taxi drivers would be for them to turn in their taxis (tools of disorder and destruction); not to have their ticket fines absolved.
Also, if you get more than 5 tickets in a year, YOU CAN’T DRIVE, SHOULD NOT BE DRIVING ON ANY PUBLIC ROAD AND SHOULD BE DOING SOMETHING ELSE FOR A LIVING!!! Luckily, our unemployment rate is lower than it ever has been so maybe they can find other jobs they are better suited for and hire someone else who CAN DRIVE to transport them to and from work every day. For some, maybe the government can help them by placing them in HEART programs for retraining.
It would be completely unfair to all other drivers for the government to allow amnesty for taxi drivers. If they do that, they should cancel tickets for all drivers; not just just taxi drivers. In the end, the government won’t do it because the majority of us don’t want them to.
They were giving 21day to pay the ticket, look at it they didn’t make any effort to pay.
There are consequences to the choices that we make. They chose not to pay so amnesty shouldn’t be given

These road ragers don’t deserve to be on the road much more amnesty. This is not to say is only the public transportation drivers are behaving in this way all private motor vehicles. However, even though they are complaining and protesting they are behaving the same way on the roads. Molynes Road, Josey Marti Technical High School straight to the vicinity of Greendale Stop Light Spanish Town, not to mention Brunswick Avenue… Mighty God how the do this I will never know..
All Mayors of this country I asked the question over and over again what purpose do they serve
Why are those unruly and indiscipline drives haven’t been banned from driving
Where is the point system that when ever they exceed there points the license is being revoked and even if that happens the system is so corrupt that they will be back on the road again
Previous and present government don’t see the need to correct the problem
People must be trained properly to be come drivers and then go and get further training for the transportation sector

So do what is right if you don’t want to get a ticket, amnesty is a sign of you all thinking that is you all run things, they must start suspend license and then you’ll see how all those tickets pay up rapidly
