@Ben B Her confidence became our surprise downfall. The Republicans were more wiley than we ever gave them credit for. We never saw Munson or the woman coming. We also failed to catch on and thwart Republicans setting up State governments to create a win for their party in those cases where the winner was not the right party, and take a page from Trump calling a foul on the vote and demand the election be corrected to a win for the Republican party.

@Michael McCaul justice Thomas is an orginaist, when the 15th amendment was passed a clause within it relating to the rights people to have interracial marriage and it used those words specially was vetoed and taken out , it’s the argument that the state of Virginia argued in the lovings case .that in its original meaning it didn’t grant that right specifically. The liberal court said its foolish to use that argument of orginaism. So which is it? Cause I’m sure Thomas would say nth about that after all he used the ruling and he married his wife. I’m not arguing that it allowed ppl to marry without discrimination based on race. I think it’s great . What I’m saying using the doctrine of orginaism and intention of the constitution when it was written and only that then lovings ruling should be over turned. To be consistent .

Chris, like many parents, you’re behind the times. My grandson had a Mohawk – actually, he had a double Mohawk – years ago. He proudly displays it in his kindergarten school picture. He only kept it for about 6 months, and now, in 5th grade, he has a more conventional haircut.

@Pablo CM you do realize that the Supreme Courts ruling doesn’t make abortion illegal. It actually puts the decision on abortion back to states. Which is the people. Sounds like less government to me. Unlike 50 years ago when the Supreme Court…Which is the government made abortion legal.
