  1. Online education. It’s 2020. Unless it’s a lab or practicum

    • okay

    • Kenny Michael Alanya | May 19, 2020 at 1:47 PM | Reply

I believe you can still do labs.
Just social distancing and pixie glass walls.
I’m guessing if america manufactures masks and. Gloves we should be good for everything else open.

Kenny Michael Alanya yeah that’s what I meant. You can’t do an online lab. It’s important to get that hands on experience. But the number of labs/courses and students is a lot less than lecture based. So it can be manageable

  2. NOOOOO CHANCE OF WORKING!!!!!

  3. cuz someone went to harvard they are an expert?? should have interviewed actual college Presidents and administrators.

    • Stephen Rioux | May 19, 2020 at 12:07 PM | Reply

College Presidents and administrators do not have the specialized experience. He is also a Senator with decades of business experience. Joe Scarborough respects his opinion. I respect his opinion. But I question your opinion.

trump went to Wharton, at least he says he did, he’s got “the best words” and he is a “Stable genius” (?)

  4. there is no safe way?

  5. Wow your talking about coming out of lockdown when a National lockdown hasn’t been done in the first place I hope Americans are ready for the sanctions or shut off from the rest of the world UK is already talking about allowing people in from other countries as long as that country has the coronavirus under control all I can say is #TrumpGate

  6. 🌈 Who cares the kids come out of those indoctrination centers dumbed down.

Dear Sal many people do care about the future leaders of our country.

That’s true but only for red States they believe that the humans race has only been on Earth for 5,000 years they believe
Not Obama was born in Kenya some of them probably still think the Earth is flat you’re not the brightest bulbs in the package

    • @edward mille did your soy – grey ponytailed college professor teach you that?🐑🐑🐑🐑

durrrr yeah like this senator who went to harvard

    • So, trump has been “dumbed down”? I guess, that could explain his stupidity.

I wish I could’ve taken my finals online. Straight A’s.
What about the dorms and class sizes?

All colleges are now the University of Phoenix

    • Killroy was here | May 19, 2020 at 2:01 PM | Reply

I have an education from Arizona, it was top notch. I was just a slacker!

    • Just Traveling | May 19, 2020 at 2:52 PM | Reply

@Killroy was here The University of Phoenix is different than the other Arizona named universities, like The University of Arizona.

I went to the University of Phoenix for one class to gain some units during a summer once. It was quite the experience, from a class full of people who shouldn’t have been there to a misleading effort to get me to take out a student loan. They called it “:Financial aid.”

Everyone in my study group took them up on the $4,000 a semester “free money” none realizing it was a loan that needed to be paid back, when they quite going, which is why they get you to take out a student loan. None could do the work either.

If you got a good education, it was the University of Arizona, not the University of Phoenix

    • Trump University.

    • Just Traveling | May 19, 2020 at 4:30 PM | Reply

@Richard K There is a reason we need regulations. Leave it to the profiteer of that one to eliminate them.

    • LOL Nah. That one is in a category of its own. Betsy DeVoss loves those for profit colleges. Regular colleges are just extending distance learning, which many have already been doing. It won’t last forever, but for now… I think it’s inferior, but it’s not University of Phoenix inferior.

Gun violence, pay inequities, climate change, etc. We have these problems and we do nothing about them. How is how we’ve responded to coronavirus ANY different?

    • Just Traveling | May 19, 2020 at 3:02 PM | Reply

Obama addressed all of those, with opposition from those running things now.

    • They’ve been addressed and found to be stupid wasteful money grab, policies that cost too much money when ran by government. Democrats with no sense and moronic fixes want to fund their dnc with these programs and they wouldn’t fix anything just raise taxes.

    • Just Traveling | May 19, 2020 at 6:01 PM | Reply

@Dr. Fell May you find out you have benzine in your water like ours has. Next time you open a can of tuna remember that you don’t want the mercury level limited. Donate money to Trump Foundation and find out he spent it on a giant portrait of himself.

    • jerry kowalski | May 19, 2020 at 6:47 PM | Reply

Well, at least we know now that so called “modelers” are almost never right. They can just arbitrarily put any input into their model to get a desired conclusion. So maybe u climate alarmists/liars can get out of ur little echo chambers and realize that the same morons who modeled COVID are the same morons who do the modeling for climate change. You my friend are just a useful little pawn in the in the controllers grand plan to distract and divide. Grow up.

  11. To Dorian, I took a break from the dismal news for 2 days. I had to – too depressing. Oh Dear God, 91 – 92,000 & countinng? He needs to be taken out in handcuffs. Twitter should revvoke his, (and his whole admin.’s), accounts. He CLEARLY is/ has been, abusing the rules & been BULLYING for years. He’s like scrambled eggs- all over the pan! Yes, a modern day Holocaust. I pray that we heal, that the world heals. Then we can focus on getting this evil man his overdue kharma.

    • Yeeesss – all of that but: what sorts of rules are they that they can be ‘abused’ with impunity by a stupid, avaricious, vindictive Nobody? In MY country our LAWS are strong enough to PREVENT a six times bankrupt. For a start: an bankrupt cannot trade for 3 years! In MY country our vote counts! We are a True democracy where the majority vote wins and the Will of The People is expressed in its government. WHAT is ‘the popular vote”? It is the Majority Vote and US’s current president did NOT win it!

No it doesnt but if you took any biology class ever and payed attentiom. You would know that viruses and other diseases spread easier in the colder weather. Thats why they are planning to get everyone out by thanksgiving, because in most parts december to january are the coldest months….. and pls stop the non sense we need to re open and go back to normal. The virus isnt going anywhere.

Let us all take advantage of having to stay home- learn something. Go online, make yourself better. In the future you can say, “I lost 20 pounds during the pandemic, but I earned an AA in Horticulture with a minor in basket weaving -here take a basket of squash”.

I wonder how the senator voted on allowing witnesses for the impeachment trial…
If he voted like I think he did, ai don’t want to be as “smart ” as he is. I’d rather be honest…

    • John Underwood | May 19, 2020 at 4:47 PM | Reply

He’s a republican. Only 2 voted to allow witnesses which is why they had none. And no, he wasn’t one of them.

  19. Why do they let the russian assets like braun on tv? Joe will never have his own mind!

Republican tries to sound “so reasonable,” so “together,” “so responsible.” 🙄🤢😠

_REMEMBER WHO THESE PEOPLE HAVE REVEALED THEMSELVES TO BE!!!_

This party MUST BE EJECTED from politics for AT LEAST a generation — QUARANTINED in the political wilderness until new-blood that actually cares about people beyond themselves and their tribe can arise to share in power responsibly.
