They have been for decades.

In 2014 they sent me home from the hospital because I could walk and taught my spouse to do my dressing changes because they didn’t have enough beds or staff then to manage every one
We are vaxed and boostered, and still getting sick. In Ontario you can return to work in 5 days if YOU say, your ok. Getting tested is almost impossible now, at home rapid test almost don’t exist. Charging non vaxed isn’t going to solve the problem.
It is also a major violation of the Canadian charter of rights. You know, our country?

Quebec has some of the worst health care in the country. I saw someone with a broken collar bone sitting 12 hours in the ER seating area. Others there for 18 hours and this was 7 years ago. I’m not surprised they are looking to tax those that are least likely to use their services. Quebec does already have some of the highest property tax rates in the country so why not raise them even higher I suppose.
I lived there 20 years ago. Also out of touch then. My nurse wife worked there at that time and considered their health care system management out of touch with the rest of the world.

I live in Burnaby Bc and it’s a 3 hour wait for a Ambulance or Fire truck to show up
