I have two of the $2 bills and one $1 bill that I’ve been saving since the loonies, and then toonies, were first introduced. Maybe in another 20 years they’ll be worth $20 total instead of $5! Hahaha

  5. Back in 1980, in moved to Alberta from Ontario. I found out that Albertans were so Americanized that most of them had never seen a Canadian $2 bill or believed they existed. ( American $2 bills do exist, they have Thomas Jefferson on the obverse. )

I miss paper money easier to carry then coins. And not all can afford iPhones to pay for things in electronic money

  7. I used the $1,000 bill once in 1999 to pay my tuition.

  8. 来年から、新紙幣デザインですね。国名変更です。

  9. Quick, anyone who has 1k sitting around that can get it put into one of these bills as collectors notes, do it now. This is your last chance, and those 1k notes will be worth SOOOOOO much more in the future. Grab a few of each denomination if you can. If you can’t, if you ever find one, KEEP IT.

    • You can’t get a $1,000 bill for $1,000 because they haven’t been printed in decades and anyone who has one isn’t going to sell it for $1,000.

  10. All cash will soon become defunct.

  11. I thought that they were already defunct.

  12. This is a hallmark of the new world order. No hard currency, everything is electronic, so they can control all economic activity. The conspiracy theorists were 100% right and this is proof.

  14. Means they will be worth more than the number printed on them.

  15. you won’t be rich by selling these bills. There won’t be many collectors or buyers around.

  16. I have the 1$ and 2$ bill

  17. I have over 500 in 1 2 5 10 20 50s dollar bills and will hand it down to my kids

  18. Anyone who still has these bills isn’t going to be using them for their face value, unless they’re clueless to their actual value.

  19. They have been gone for at least 15 years unless I just woke out of my weed stupor
