    1. @Belinda Paul I am staying safe, thanks. And why use words like “unleash” and “outrage”; are you the main stream media? You’re missing the bigger picture anyways, the point is that in the name of a supposed “invisible” enemy we are now at the mercy of whatever big brother wants. Are you not worried about giving government control over your daily life?

    2. @ATL Braves So, no – I don’t believe that I’m missing the bigger picture at all tbh.
I totally understand where your concerns are coming from and I think they’re completely valid – and, I completely agree that the rapidly escalating degree of (global) government control is seriously problematic.
And, I used the language I did in reaction to your comment which sounded diminishing, patronising and a little aggressive. The only way to control the spread (and the mortality rate) is for folks to stay away from each other but you’re calling people out.
Like, I don’t want to argue with you – I just want people (including yourself)) to try and stay safe and well. That’s it.

  1. Better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it, but that makes too much sense.

    1. Blake T but yet NY is the epicenter of this virus yes there are 49 more state, but are there cases number going up????

    2. @Jay Jones Stay safe man. The lack of testing is still a huge problem around the country, I can only imagine what the totals are going to look like in another week.

    3. Blake T for the purposes of the pandemic yes they do, we need them to, currently New York has ten time’s the number of cases of any other states. They have a much more urgent concerns than the other states. Trump should’ve activated the DPA

  2. Why were we not more prepared we knew about this in February their were cases coming from China. But we did nothing.

  3. I was on 3 days. Praise God He pulled me threw. Out ICU in regular room getting my oxygen level up I can go home in a few days.

    1. @Trevor Guthrie I give no energy to ignorance. God created heaven and earth the meds and people to administer them. So I thank Him for all that has taken place thus for.

    2. @4th Son low count of cases there? Yes that is good news.. I personally don’t know anyone that is infected but I know it’s not easy.. I hope things get better and soon.. For everyone

  4. We, India, will be the next epicenter. People here are walking back 100s of km home in large groups. Take care USA.

    1. @dan mac Good grief no! Nonsensical is definitely not out of character for Donnie dementia.

I bet his Trump burgers/steaks had BSE! 😋😄

    2. – Karan Chauhan: Necessity is the mother of INVENTION. A Kenyan Fashion designer makes and distributes FREE MASKS in Kibera slums. There are people trying to be PROACTIVE about protecting the most VULNERABLE….at times, this protocol is the difference between a pandemic curve (on a graph) that’s UPWARD or DOWN, meaning it’s being contained.
Apologies for Mike Brockway, he was dispising towards you, with NO information about your location or intent…..just running on MISGUIDED notions. The human RACE is in a world that consists of ONE people, together – WE STAND, divided – WE FALL (especially in this unpredictable time). We NEED each other’s INGENUITY and CARE.
Thanks for reaching out. 😃 March 28, 2020.

    3. @Juha Pehkonen heeheehee… thanks for that explanation of the utter stupid. For a while I thought maybe CoronaV also eats up the brain, in addition to lungs. Now Mike makes sense just as much as trump and trump needs citizens exactly like him, to vote for him

    4. @Pink Freud Daily wage workers are walking back to their homes in India from one state to another which are 100s of kms away due to nationwide lockdown. Their livelihoods are lost till the lockdown so they are going back home.

    1. the rest of the world needs this! all of australia’s factories that can make these are making them, make the call Donald holy crap we can worry about the economy after this crisis is dealt with

    2. @Asier Linazasoro And if we are extremely lucky they will not be used. We should be happy then and celebrate if they are not used. Provide them to other states and countries that need them.
Also there is not an expiration date on them for the near future. Just stockpile them for future use in disasters.

    3. So he’s letting people die while the ventilators’ just sit there? And while he claims he doesn’t have enough. It’s not like you are going to wear them out by starting to use them now vs. 3 weeks. This is insane!

    1. The depth of dt’s inability to think is astounding. But when you have to add the tragic reality that he is actually, President, then what we have is a catastropy.

    2. There is such a thing when this goon is stockpiling them instead of sending them to hospitals. Watch what I say he will get caught selling those ventilators to other countries.

  5. Listening to Cuomo is so refreshing. He has clearly listened to experts, compares the experience in other countries with the situation in US and has a plan for moving forward. Step aside Dumpster and allow someone with the intelligence, ability and empathy to take this from here.

    1. @stormysocks sorry you cant read properly. I didn’t make any comment on living in New York. I said listening to his updates is refreshing compared with Dumpster who lies, deflects and blames others and takes 0 responsibility for late response.

  6. …….how expensive ventilators are?
(Edit: $25000 each is expensive? How many cruise missiles you can buy with that?)

    1. Price isn’t the issue. It is the limited quantity vs the time they need it by. They need 30-40k ventilators in the next 20 days.

    2. Every one forgets that MAYOR DEBLAH BLAH told Every one in NYC to live their lives as normal as early as March 13. It’s on audio for the world to listen to.

  7. Imagine: a leader in government who follows the data, researches the science, and can crunch the numbers… One who knows who to listen to and defers to experts in times of crisis.

    1. Can you imagine a governor who would use the ventiliators now on the people who need them instead of holding out for no reason?

    2. It’s not just that he follows it and crunches the numbers it’s the fact the New York health professionals in on his meetings and public briefings don’t end up having to correct what he say’s unlike after the POTUS opens his useless mouth.

    3. I have a feeling he will be our president in the near future. This is what a leader sounds like 🇺🇸

  8. “The states are bidding against other states.”
THIS is why the federal government is supposed to coordinate disaster relief. Not each individual state.

    1. The rich guy who owns the ventilator company is probably a friend of Trumps. That’s why Little Donald doesn’t want to control costs.

    2. William Mai The federal government/agencies work as a tier system to notify states when impending emergencies are imminent. The Pandemic Response Team would have help facilitate that need was fired by Trump. Just as the mayor New Orleans said, she would have shut down Mardi Gras, but the federal government was too busy saying those cases, “would go down from 15 to zero.”

    3. Sweet lady because he did not invoke his presjdental powers and order these things done at a cosf and yes moderate profit. He could have went to many companys and ordered it on comand.Deliver what you have on comand.TIME IS WASTED.and this virus spares no one.Read on Hong Kong because they acted quick lives saved. So he continues to little to late.LATE LATE

    4. @Donald Grow magically found after Barr said anyone hoarding medical supplies would be prosecuted.
They knew they had them. Just like Puerto Rico

    1. @Jenny Farnsworth smart. he is evil like the rest of washington. Trump will remove these idiots soon!

    2. @Rose Hadden elmhurst hospital has a video on how they lack ventilators, they are all blaming Trump… Cuomo claims that they don’t have ventilators because they don’t need them yet. Go watch the vide it was published by the new York times. Elmhurst hospital is the epicenter, they claim that they NEED ventilators, Cuomo hasn’t deployed them, he is waiting for the apex. AND PEOPLE STILL BLAME TRUMP. This is insanity.

    3. @Mary Morris I hope the doj investigates stomo for hoarding the vents and crying his needs are not being met.

    4. please do not hide ventilators, distribute them to hospital now to save lives…no more BS politics games for now!!

  9. Cuomo will have the playbook on this situation and the other governors and military will be talking with him to know how to get it done in other states. May he and Dr. Fauci stay well and rested!

  10. So help me God once we get through with this I will need to be physically restrained or else I may be liable to go off on a Trump supporter

    1. Go watch the video of elmhurst hospital pleading for ventilators…. He hasn’t deployed any because we dont need them he claims. He is stock piling them, while people die , how is he a hero.?

  11. I really hope Governor Cuomo is taking care of his own health because the American people will desperately need experienced, competent leaders like him in the coming years.

    1. Boy some people who don’t believe in something fall for anything. Wake up. Cuomo is no leader, he was born on 3rd base, get it?

    1. This is the first time in living memory that the states have been forced to do this. In previous natural disasters, FEMA was there to look after the disaster. There is a national stockpile that FEMA would draw on, but never has the US had 50 governors all bidding and jockeying for materials. It’s insane, but Lardass thinks that’s a better system.

I guess in a country where they ignore the benefits of universal healthcare (cheaper, more streamlined, everyone gets care) because doing so benefits the healthcare insurance companies, not the public, what does it matter that 50 governors can’t provide enough medical supplies??
