  5. “The natural state of mankind is, and I know this is a controversial idea, is freedom. Is freedom. And the proof is the length to which a man, woman or child will go to regain it once taken. He will break loose his chains. He will decimate his enemies. He will try and try and try, against all odds, against all prejudices, to get home.” – John Quincy Adams in “Amistad”

A totalitarian state will never give up their power to the people, that’s a pipe dream that some might have.

  7. That guy at 1:38 can’t walk alone down the street for sure. I’d take an assault charge if I saw him face to face.

Oops she forgets to mention that during that altercation a protester allegedly had a gun and fired it while being arrested but didn’t hurt anyone. I saw a video with gun on ground but China could have staged the whole thing

    • I can see that being staged, since the protests are the talk of the town the Chinese government is going to make the protesters out to be these savage gun wielding thugs.

  9. Just wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS.🌼

    🎄🎅🎁🎄🤶🎄

  10. The police must not show these protesters any mercy……… Why must they interfere with shoppers who want to celebrate Christmas….. It is absolutely unacceptable……..

  16. Smart money would leave for more democratic pastures. Get out while you still can. It’s only a matter of time before the Red Chinese put the boot down.

  17. #freeHongkong

  18. Wish more fellow Americans were protesting and marching against Trump and Republican’s attacks against our democracy. A strong democracy in America would also help insure democracy in Hong Kong. Unfortunately we don’t have that. It’s hurting us, and is hurting people around the world–not just in Hong Kong, or China, or Russia, or North Korea, or Saudi Arabia, or the Philippines, or all the other places where this President looks the other way at the rampant abuses of civil-rights and human-rights, encouraging further abuses.
