This is unacceptable. First of all, why is there not a system in place to flag someone with more than 10 tickets and immediately suspend their license? Also, in 2022, you are telling me there is no online system where persons can use their TRN and drivers license to pay a TRAFFIC TICKET?? This is truly a backward country!
That not so much the problem the thing is the government closing the ticket so they have to go waste court time if the ticket leave open it can pay anytime even if they put in the same online system that you are talking

Here in Canada the insurance and the government system connected if you have outstanding ticket Here you can’t insure your car you can’t renew your driver’s license until you pay all your tickets and here they don’t close the ticket you can pay at the tax office even if the dead line to pay your ticket pass you can can still pay your ticket
Same same in Jamaica under the new law, at this moment, you can no longer register your car if you have tickets or renew your license. They are also thinking of even baring you from leaving the country if you have outstanding tickets.

We have a working who has 1 unpaid traffic ticket here in Georgia and he has not been to work for the past 3 days. You know why his drivers license in now suspended. How the hell one can still have a valid driver’s license with 450+ un paid traffic ticket? Jamaica and it government to slack..
