They have changed their rules to favor old geezers who should have retired a decade or two ago. Pay attention.
The sad thing is we would never expect better from the GOP these days. It would have been a total shock if any of them had shown any real integrity. Collins and Romney, it’s hard to tell if they voted their conscience or if it was just what McConnell orchestrated.
I don;t disagree, though the same’s true for the Democrats. We clearly stretched for this impeachment and you’d think some folks’d be smart enough to push back on either side. None of em did. Today’s politics is: devout politics…. blindly follow the invisible man on whatever side you’re on.

The answer to your bait question that doesn;t really follow what I said is: Nothing. He’s got 50+ years of public history proving he’s a silver-spooned moron. But the facts are the facts, and Democrats went WEEEEELL out of their way to try and make this happen with little to no chance of actually making it happen. I might not be for Trump, but that doesn;t mean I back morons to try an tank other morons.
When you are the final safeguard of the rule of law and do not fulfill that responsibility, and in fact apply the political games of lying and ignoring evidence to the extent one can get away with it ! and ignore your oath of office ( your contract with the people),doesn’t that kinda void all laws you people would impose on us??????
