Toronto announces new homeless outreach support program for the transit system

The TTC will be expanding its outreach support of the city's unhoused population that use the transit system as temporary shelter.

    1. who says they aren’t paying a fare? How would arresting someone already going through issues make their life any better? And who would arrest them or process the cases etc? There is a back log of real cases/ real crimes already in the system. Do you really believe the police care enough to arrest someone over a minor fare violation…and if they did do you really think the already overburden court system would do anything?
