  1. Gross incompetence is the likely cause but don’t rule out Trumps petty motivation for revenge.

I’d like to see the table of which states are getting short-shipped their vaccines vs which states didn’t vote for Trump. Betcha they are very much in congruence.

    • Gnirol Namlerf | December 19, 2020 at 8:53 PM | Reply

@surely you joke, mein failüre They are both Republican (IN, KS, IA) and Democratic-voting states (CT, CA, MD).

    • trump is always ALL about money for him.
I get how the PPE scam worked. and how trump _TRIED_ to profit off his hydroxychloroquine schtick.
I don’t get how trump profits (bc that’s what it’s always about) from slowing the vaccines.

that said, every OTHER move since January has been to increase demand for trump’s supply of PPE, HQ, … and now vaccine?

    • Don’t rule out part of the vaccine stock being resold abroad for profit

    • Herman ten Klooster | December 19, 2020 at 10:33 PM | Reply

Incompetence and pettiness are clear reasons for this debacle.

    The results speak for themselves.

  3. Trump : “The military will be ready to distribute the vaccines” UPS and FEDEX flights and trucks were delayed….where is our military that Trump was boasting about?

    • Anyone who believes ANYTHING trump says is a fool.

    • Thinking Too Much | December 19, 2020 at 12:45 PM | Reply

      Building the Mexican wall

    • Holding them back for elections!

    • Yeah I remember he said that..I was so excited as our proud military in the Pandemic on tv and cable showing our Mighty military roll out their power of the USA might in saving the American citizens..and all I saw was a freaking Brown UPS truck rolling out…Wtf. ..where are the Stallion helicopter..the C37 cargo military plane..where are the Aircraft carriers..where are the military convoy running down all major American cities bringing in the vaccines from Operation Warp Speed..?

    • Herman ten Klooster | December 19, 2020 at 10:20 PM | Reply

Incompetence combined with vengeance. That’s donnie.

  4. Getting rid of Trump would be Operation Warp Speed.

  5. Trump held the Pfeifer vaccine because he has stock in Moderna.

  6. Donald Trump is being blackmailed by Russia and it’s getting real obvious even to people who had doubts.

    • Steven Scott, ABSOLUTELY! They had him fire all the good, capable experts and installed incompetent boobs in crucial areas of government, whereby they were able to enter the backdoors left open to cyber hacking. Now that the Military is compromised and the nuclear program is exposed America is vulnerable to attack. The worst is yet to come! Too many traitors within the country to stop a coup.

      @Sylvia Hoyle LOL sure

  7. Everything around Trump Is circling the drain at warp speed. Until he is gone the federal government is worthless

    • @Helene Flamand – I agree that the special refrigeration requirements were foreseeable, Helene. But at what point was it realized how severe the issue was going to be? The parameters require systems that can, at minimum, maintain temperatures of MINUS 70 degrees Celsius for up to ten days. And, from what I’ve been able to ascertain, that wasn’t determined until around mid-November.
And the equipment HAS to be portable, so you can ship the vaccine around the country. You can’t just stick the vaccine in a cooler with some dry ice. It requires much more stringent care and protection than that.
‘Warp Speed’ had just weeks to source this very specialized PORTABLE equipment. And it was competing with the rest of the world, which learned these exacting parameters at around the same time as we did.
This administration can legitimately be pilloried for many (and vast) errors, miss-steps and and outright malfeasance. Don’t concentrate on an issue like this. Because it runs the risk of de-legitimizing other, truly foreseeable and outrageous errors they’ve made.

    • @Rumi900 The point is: this administration is not good at anything that looks like ‘planning’. The vaccines’ rollout promise to be chaotic.

    • @Helene Flamand – Not an issue for the current administration, though. Republican voters will blame any problems with the vaccine rollout on the new administration. That’s what happened with worldwide sub-prime mortgage fiasco, remember? It actually occurred in 2007, under the Bush administration. But most Republicans now believe it was Obama’s fault, even though his presidency didn’t start January 2009, over a year and half later! Remember, the Republican Party has become a post-truth party. Along with most of it’s voters.

    • You need to include Moscow Mitch in the problems we suffer.

    • Helene Flamand | December 19, 2020 at 2:04 PM | Reply

@Rumi900 Unfortunately, you are completely right. I wish the reality was different.

  8. And how strange that we even would openly mention that withholding vaccine as a political consideration might be a possibility however remote.

  9. georgia vote blue in georgia runoffs i am a republican but i am voting blue

    • DAVID you might be

    • @DAVID You have absolutely NO clue what communism is.

    • Thank you. I don’t see how anyone can keep supporting a party that is letting Russia take over, letting our people die and treating the average American with the contempt and disdain they show daily.

    • Thank you.

    • @Wild Wilder David knows nothing of communist..he is only a player from calls of duty ..playing his video game..there is no way if a foreign enemies attack USA would he sacrifice his life for the American way…heh David ..yeah you ..communist would have you within 15 minutes at your door and take you to a place you would never been seen again ..that is how ruthless they are..and guess who turned you in ? Your own family …yep that is how communist don’t make threats to your fellow Americans unless you know what communist are capable of..

  10. The CEO of Pfiser said they are waiting for directives to deliver to states. How sad that the real story is not being told.

    • Angela Uzdilla | December 19, 2020 at 6:46 AM | Reply

Nancy, the really story has NEVER been told … why in the world would we think that this spineless ADMINSTATION would start NOW!

  11. And yeah, Pfizer has already said this is BS

    • nofaithjusthope | December 19, 2020 at 8:19 AM | Reply

LOng h4mm3r…No, Pfizer said there production is on schedule ( they indeed have the doses they are not to blame) and they have nothing to do with the cut back on supply…so who is responsible? One guess and it’s not the weather. Hint, they can just nuke the weather.

  12. Gevowavemagnet | December 19, 2020 at 3:21 AM | Reply

Trump didn’t “stumble”, he committed another crime.

  13. Andrew Herrmann | December 19, 2020 at 3:48 AM | Reply

Republicans always break the government and then tell us that government doesn’t work.

  14. CRK Productions | December 19, 2020 at 4:58 AM | Reply

They get almost nothing right. Trump is inadequate as a human.

  15. And then why did the CEO from Pfizer say they are JUST waiting for direction from the Govt. Curious

  16. These aren’t “accidents.” He’s getting revenge for losing. Imagine if he was still POTUS for 4 more years. THIS was EXACTLY the kind of stuff we said would happen if he didn’t have to care about reelection.

  17. Gop incompetence is literally killing us

    • The govt siding with Covid19 against the people is not incompetent, it is evil. They knew herd immunity would cost about a million lives, and that is looking about where it will be. Half a million by mid February and nobody can stop it now because Trump has wrecked the US public’s ability to follow the simple instructions that save lives elsewhere.

  18. Sionnach MacBradaigh | December 19, 2020 at 6:25 AM | Reply

The level of morbid incompetence in this administration will astound historians for centuries to come.

  19. “We want them infected” straight from a Trump appointee

    • If most of the people meaning black and mexican people die , he think he will win in 2024 But NO he will not as long as Jesus Christ have something to do with it ,he want ever win . Not in this country!!

    • surely you joke, mein failüre | December 19, 2020 at 8:30 PM | Reply

Rather ironically, the white house was still rapid-testing anyone who could come in (because they knew the virus could be fatal) even while publicly they were pushing for more people to spread the disease around. That’s roughly the definition of felony manslaughter. Lotta blood on their hands. That’s like operating a meat grinder playground for other folks’ kids to die in, while making sure that your own kids avoid the place.

  20. Joe Biden really has his work cut out for him. What a mess to clean up.
