When you’re 14, WW1 begins. It ends when you are 18 with 20 million deaths, 21 million wounded. And before you can even make sense of that, you’re 18 years old and a 3rd of the Earth’s population are infected with Spanish Flu and 50 million people die. 675,000 deaths in the United States. And through the Grace of God you come out alive and free, you are now 20 years old. You have a good 9 years, maybe, and then the global economy collapses. And the beginning of the collapse of the New York stock exchange. Half of America’s banks fail. Your parents most likely lost everything. You could of been rich, now you are poor. Unemployment now reaches 20%. And for 10 years your world is thrust into a deep depression..
When you’re 33, the Nazi’s rise to power. By the time you are 39 WW2 begins. 6 years later, you’re 45, and the Holocaust you just found out, has killed 6 million Jews. And 60 million people have died around the world. Some fighting for freedom some fighting for domination. Think of this.. When you are 52 the Korean War begins. 64, it’s the Vietnam War. That doesn’t end until you are 75. What.. was life like for the last generation.
A man or woman who is born in the year 1985 thinks his grandparents HAVE NO IDEA how difficult their life is right now. Really??? Really, I don’t think we have any concept how difficult THEY’RE life was! A 25 year old born in 1995, thinks it’s the end of the world when his Amazon package takes more then 3 days to arrive. Or when he doesn’t get more then 15 likes for a photo posted on Facebook or Instagram.
Some of us stop talking to friends and family, just because they are not going to vote the way we think they should.. Now, this isn’t to say our time isn’t frought with trials and tribulations, it is. The situation is serious today, it’s Election Day in America…
The Hoosier state did vote for Obama in 2008.

I hate projections. The mail in votes have not been counted.
That depends on the state. Florida, for example, begins counting ballots on receipt, so they only ones that had not been counted as of this morning were those cast today in person and those that came into the office by mail today. Over nine million votes in FL had already been counted this morning.

I drove through it a couple of times. When I was at Case-Western Reserve University in Cleveland, we used to drive over to Northwestern in Evanston, Illinois on weekends and crash in friends’ dorms over there. It’s a quick drive through the state. Blink, and you’re on the other side.

Indiana is one of the most “Southern” Midwestern States
Recently moved from Idaho, Mississippi of the West, an insult to the Magnolia State.
Growing up, we always referred to Indiana as “upper Kentucky”.
Indiana might be one of the Midwestern states but do they even look for whom they are casting their votes for? I could understand 4 years ago, but today is something else. Do they like their women abused and v et little, are they okay with so much of the things that made the USA one of the power bases and leader in the world disappear. They might not care for the loss of life either or the fact tg hat the man they voted for keeps selling our national treasures to line his pockets.
