  1. Can’t even go to the mall, grocery store, church, school, movie theater, etc. That’s how screwed up we are.

  2. It’s pretty terrifying to go to work these days. Never know whos looking to just end someone’s life for no reason at all at any given moment.

    1. @Juu9do Well the answer has always been more love and less hate. Barring that, just get use to it.

  3. It definitely won’t be the last. This sucks. R.I.P. to all lives lost for absolutely no reason.

    1. @CR Williams that will literally change nothing 😂😂 they’re criminals for a reason, because they don’t follow laws

    1. @Josh cause it’s still a joke that you just couldn’t comprehend wasn’t even meant to make anyone laugh just to remind each other of the joke today’s society is.

  4. Imagine if that off duty officer were not there at the time he was called to step up by those horrific circumstances. Hero does not even begin to describe that officer’s choices and actions. I really do hope he receives good mental health help. Hyper vigilence, ptsd and insomnia are no light burden to carry. ❤

    1. Imagine a legal gun owner that was a sound mind standing right next to the shooter all the lives that could have been saved

    2. Many American citizens, especially those who treasure their families and their freedom, train and prepare regularly. Those who understand their civic duty includes law enforcement.. but definitely is not exclusive to law enforcement or ex-military.

  5. I live in Norway. Cant even begin to imagine what it would be like to go to the mall, movies, work or outside at all in a country like this. I would be worried to death whenever my son would go out. Hell, i live in Norway and I’m still worried about him. What does this do to your citizens? It must be a huge cost for America, the collective fear, depression and anxiety these daily shootings inflict on people. The whole country has to be – literally – worried sick. I know I would be.
    Wish you the best, people.

    1. I would be scared living in Norway. You guys treat prisoners like they are living in a hotel and don’t give life sentences to murderers.

  6. Condolences to the families of the victims. This is what happens when bribery is legal in politics.

  7. This is so sickening…I feel like nothing changes! 😢 big ups the officer who terminated the suspect

    1. @VerballyCopulating They’re praising him bc we’ve seen other cops don’t do their jobs in shootings like this

  8. I work in retail stores and am in that area often. This hits home. It’s so disturbing that someone would do this for no reason.

    1. @Linda C Well that’s unfortunate but I think this had nothing to do with retail and more to do with finding a place with a lot of people

    2. I live in this area which is even more scary. School is literally canceled because of all the shootings happening here and someone is also threatening to shoot down our school.

  9. This is absolutely heartbreaking this is the first thing I see waking up this morning so much pain for the victims and families the children the poor children it’s hard to process, I’m at a loss for words at this point I have a a 4 year old who I don’t get to see living with her mom and all I could think about is the pain the parents must feel, my fear for her safety In this country is ever growing and unnerving, something has got to change. 😢

    1. “I have a 4 year old who I don’t get to see living with her mom”. Wth does THAT even mean? Yes…you are definitely at a loss for words; a very BIG loss, in fact.

  10. People did NOT “lose” their lives; their lives were stolen from the people who loved them for no other reason than an emotional person had a gun.

    1. @Mars

*Every* weapon ‘releases multiple rounds in seconds’. I used to trap shoot doubles, with a single shot break action. Its considerably easier to shoot defenseless Humans in groups.

  11. My husband and I don’t know how much more we can take. We just had the Atlanta shooting just miles from our house and the Moultrie shooter on the same day from the town we moved from! We have started looking into moving our family out of this country and to the Netherlands. I’m so scared to take my son to school, go shopping, and even drive down the interstate. And nothing is being done. People care more about their gun rights than other people’s lives! It’s not going to end. This is the wild west.

    1. @Long Gone You are not wrong. I live in a place now where we do have gun rights now, they just aren’t as easy to get, and they aren’t a big part of the culture. I think our last shooting was in 2017.

  12. “I never imagined in 100 years I would be thrust into the position of being the first first responder on the site to take care of people,” he shared. “The first girl I walked up to was crouched down covering her head in the bushes, so I felt for a pulse, pulled her head to the side and she had no face.” – Texas shooting witness

  13. ‘two customers inside the H&M store were among those injured. It’s tough when you see a family that’s out shopping, having fun, get wiped off the face of the Earth because somebody with a gun has some other type of issue.’ – eye witness

  14. The sad reality is it will keep happening OVER & OVER AGAIN 😢 And no one will do anything about it

    1. Prepare and train in small groups with your neighbors. It is what many are doing and works great. Failure to plan means you and your family are planning to fail. Period.

    2. What do you mean!? Republicans are giving us tons of thoughts and prayers every week. Trillions of thoughts and prayers have been spent on this crisis. They are trying really hard to solve it.

  15. My sincerest condolences to the families, loved ones and friends. A similar crime took place in my hometown of Belgrade/Serbia, the lives of eight students and security workers at the school were extinguished. They were shot by a classmate, a 13-year-old peer.
I wish everyone a speedy recovery for all the injured and traumatized and that it never happens again.

  16. My Uncle John, who lives in Allen, Texas, lives in an apartment which is only half a mile away from the area where the shooting happened. My Uncle called us and told us that they had put the entire apartment on lockdown and that he was able to hear the gunshots from there. I’m Just glad that my Uncle survived and everyone else in that apartment. It must’ve been so scary for him and everyone else in the apartment. It’s scary to think about how many active shootings there are in the world now… There’s schools shootings, street shootings, even hospital shootings. The world has really become something else now…

  17. This hits home. I live 5 miles from those outlets. You think it can never happen to you, but it can. Heart goes out to these families
