    1. @roof pizza If my car insurance goes up because some greedy a-hole wrecked his yacht, that is just another reason why I don’t feel sorry for him.

    2. Lol. Jeremy and yet you hope with all of your being to become that wealthy billionaire.
      Success always!

  1. Aww poor rich folk, now they’ll have to fly back on a private jet to their mansion and have to wait a month for insurance to replace the mega yacht.

    1. @M P I get you, but the reality is that even if it were to be refloated, you’d have a salvageable hull but nearly everything in it goes directly to the dumpsters and scrap metal bins.

    2. @M P Sure, but it mostly means gutting and refitting everything. Note that the cruise ship Costa Concordia was scrapped due not to hull damage, but to everything in it being ruined. In fact it’s rare for a large vessel to be salvaged. They remove them for environmental concerns, but usually in chunks.

    3. @BraveNewWhirled Costa Concordia after the wreckage became a courts evidence it could not be restored due to the legal proceedings. This one here is a private boat with no legal issues. I few things have to be gutted but the structure, the engine etc is going to be fine. It will only take one scuba diver to raise it up and a tug boat.

  2. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahqhahahahahahahahahahahahqhahahahahahqhahqhahahaha
