The sweeping legislation includes record spending on clean energy initiatives, measures to reduce prescription drug prices and a tax overhaul to ensure large corporations pay income taxes.

The House voted 220-207, with no Republicans joining Democrats in supporting the act.

The bill now heads to Biden, who is expected to sign it into law after months of negotiations between moderate and progressive Democrats, who ultimately reached an agreement late last month.
