@stray fiftynine I think you will find that he is actively seeking to claim back millions of dollars – stating that he overpaid massively in previous years because of his enormous losses and cumulative debts from loans and failed business deals. To counter this, he offsets large sums as expenses or over claims the value of properties many fold so his “loss” is that much bigger. or “donates” failed land deals to states as “parks”, which they then have to maintain at their own expense. So yes – in theory, he paid taxes – and much of it seemingly was claimed back as losses, He certainly seems to have paid more to foreign countries than the US. Fake news? Believe the National Taxpayers Union Foundation.
