Watch: Vehicles stuck on GTA highways as winter storm hammers Ontario

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning Monday morning due to gusty winds and near-zero visibility amid blowing snow as parts of Ontario expect up to 60 centimetres.

  3. When you are out in your electric car during a snow storm make sure you have a can of electricity handy because you may have to wait it out and run out of battery power.

  4. What is funny about this is, somewhere between 7 and 14 days ago when there was 1 millimeter of snow’ on the ground they were putting down patches of salt 4 inches thick. When it really snows.. nothing..

    1. @curto berto No, the plow crews work much faster with less snow. It takes much longer for them to get to tertiary and quaternary roads on days like these.

  6. I am waiting for the ministry of health and environment Canada to conclude that this snow fall is likely caused by the unvaccinated.

  7. SO dam funny watching all the young guys in their souped up cars spinning their tires in a little bit of snow…lol…$5000 for fancy rims but dont want to waste money on winter tires. Should be a law that says, if you dont have winter tires on, in the winter, and you get into an accident, your car will NOT be covered!
