    1. Maria, how does raising the minimum wage NOT effect the budget? More income means more taxable income which as you know is DIRECTLY tied to annual budget — Kamala had the power to disregard the parliamentarian recommendation citing that fact and CHOSE NOT TO, bottom line

    2. @Keith Cuesta I’m sorry, but the cpac stage design is literally a stylized (barely) ss Nazi odal (othal) rune. So, there it is. They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. Yes, it is that bad.

    3. @Crimdor People are fleeing California in droves due to it’s archaic tax and property laws that seriously need overhaul.

  1. It’s a crying shame if she’s not approved but she’s got a job somewhere. Redumplicans blowing chunks again.

  2. Isn’t it funny that she’s more qualified in every facet of life than 90% of those Republican jokers deciding her fate

  3. republicans: “We object to her divisive tweets, which are unbecoming of a person in public office.”
    America: 😅😂🤣

    1. Tweatles, AKA William H, AKA whatever, but Silly Willy will do…failed musician that lives in Southern California. Don’t click his link unless you are deaf.

  4. Trump put ms barrett and Barr and did not allow any wh to testify/Ms Tandem is qualified than ms Greene or Hawley therefore she is confident to deliver 100% than any Mitch McConnell/McCarthy or other looser in the republicans! Mr BIDEN is in control of the senate and the GOP period vote for ms Tandem period!

  5. The Repugs will look for any reason to block cabinet nominees especially any that will do a good job, making our current president look good in his leadership ability vs the ex liar in chief

  6. she only removed them because of this nomination, don’t act like a fool, you love her attacks when they convenient to y’all, so don’t even tried, she’s a just a bitter hrc loyalist, NOT a progressive at all.

  7. These people who use tweeter will say any dumb thing they want until you ask them face to face and than they say ” oh i didn’t say that, u mistook it, “

  8. Some people commenting here seem to believe that Dems have control of the Senate. Because of the filibuster, that’s not true. They can, once per annual budget, pass legislation directly related to the budget by a simple majority — every Dem and Sanders caucusing with them plus the tie-breaker cast by VP Harris. (She only has a vote when the Senate votes are a tie. Unfortunately, if any Senator says he is going to filibuster a bill, the bill needs 60 votes to pass into law. The Dems need 10 Republicans to vote with them. If you want legislation that’s good for people, start now working to support Dems running in the midterms. They have a slim majority in the House and it’s 50-50 in the Senate, and midterms tend to go for the party not in the WH so a lot of work is going to have to be done

  9. I just want Biden to have the staff he wants. She’s qualified for the role. Just confirm her already and get to work.

    1. …and if they won’t, put her in as “acting” until someone else can be found, like say in 4 years or so. Time to start playing by their rules, good enough for Trump, it’s good enough for Dems to use.

  10. Tandens not the worst choice but is not good for progressives. She has publicly advocated for cuts to social security calling it an entitlement program. She will side with big business over the little guy in most situations. She has gone after unions in the past. She has history of being a jerk. I had hoped we were done with that for a while. She’s to the right of but in close touch with Hillary Clinton policy positions and that is why many people are for her.
