  1. It’s sad that American leadership has to come from professional athletes rather than the Whitehouse, but that’s where we are… Make America decent again.

    1. @Johnathan Metz why are u mad at rich people speaking up for people that arent? U sound sooooo fckn stupid. U have to be poor to protest? U just jealous…..its easy to spot an angry whiteboy…..

    2. @Johnnie Pinkney basketball players don’t protest on the streets with anyone. They don’t risk time, money or risk getting arrested. No risk no reward.

    3. That was dumb. No leadership is coming from ball players. They didn’t play a game. Really put themselves out.

    4. @David Eby maybe they should count money…..ignore issues…..and tell their blind followers the problems will all just “disappear”……

    1. @Toby Jean Stop trying to justify killing black people.
If All lives mattered, why is that Americans only see. BLACK LIVES, taken on s daily basis.? By KOP’s.?

    2. HOW COME THIS ATHLETES DID REFUSE TO PLAY WHEN WAS ONE YEAR, 3 YEAR, 8 YEAR, 14 YEAR OLD BLACK KIDS GET KILLED RISENTLY. IT DO NOT BOTHER THEM. BUT THEY STAND UP FOR LIFE OF CRIMINALS. DISGUSTING.

  2. I’ve NEVER been prouder to be a sports fan than today………👏👏👏👏👏 THANK YOU DOC RIVERS…and ALL THE NBA FOR YOUR WORDS …………

    1. @Cocolaboy No. I mean George Floyd. The man that had Donald Trump cowering in his basement. That George Floyd!!

    2. @B Swifty No. If tax paid THUGS with badges hadn’t murdered him on camera this wouldn’t have happened. Who knows what they have done OFF CAMERA.

    3. @pennless8 Oh, the methed out multiple fellon that died of phentanyl overdose. I thought you were talking about the baby raper that got a few in the back for reaching for a weapon in his car. Sorry. Don’t do drugs, don’t commit crimes, and don’t resist arrest. It seems to be a winning formula for staying alive

    4. @B Swifty Two things,if he was freaking out on drugs he still didn’t deserve to be murdered and it just shows that law enforcement are not properly trained to deal with situations like this to de-escalate a tense situation .

    5. @Cocolaboy You truly sound like Trumpe! All black men are on drugs, no I believe he said everyone from Mexico was on drugs! I wonder whose paying Big Money to bring the Drugs into our Country???

    1. @Jerry Huff not surprising that all you liberals ever have are insults. You never have facts because you are all brainwashed!

    1. @MaryElaine-Blinstrub Chambers Only the Lord is worthy of a knee, don’t let the MS media lie too you. Don’t commit crimes and don’t resist arrest, pretty simple

  3. ” Stand Up” I am So Very Proud Of The Entire NBA League For Taking A Stand , LeBron Stay Strong And Continued To STAND UP !!

    1. Umm……they literally took a knee!

But I get it, liberals think 2+2=5. Boy means girl and girl means boy. And equality means don’t ever question a black person especially if they are committing a crime.

    2. @Patrick Patrick nice one! These people are all zombies just slowly walking with the crowd to whatever noise they hear.

    1. @J Mora no i don’t watch , i do that’s the difference , if some children wanna throw a ball in a hoop, that’s up to them, i have better things to do.

    2. @thomas apparently only 20% of NBA players are registered to Vote, people are so gullible to think your NBA gives 2 damm’s about what happens to Poor people. People replaced the worship of a God to worship these idiots. They don’t even play a man’s sport.

    1. They r all crooks I believe that there is no money they spent it all the greed won’t help Americans survive Nancy needs to go home and eat.

  4. It brings tears to my eyes to see the teams make this huge step. This is just remarkable and will change the whole narrative of race in this country. They ran Kap out of the NFL but what will they do now?

    1. @R. B.L. Brave heroes? They are millionaires that live in mansions and have yachts and airplanes and ride around with well-armed body guards in luxury cars. They are a privileged group of people that live in a different world. What they are doing will not correct police brutality. Virtue signalling never accomplishes anything. They are supporting a violent, racist, white-hating Marxist organization dedicated to killing police officers. That will definitely not solve one problem. Painting that organization’s name on basketball courts and wearing tee shirts won’t solve one problem. Heroes? They are phonies.

    2. @Cocolaboy not at all, the stats confirm the targeted effects of system racism in America. Starting with incarceration rates.

    3. @Jerry Garcia There you go, and you want to say there is no systemic racism in this country – read your own racist posting and think for once. if these guys have no power against the system, imagine what the average kid has. A national Shame.

  5. If you shoot man seven times in the back , that is pure hatred. You have no soul and no conscience. And there is something seriously wrong with you.

    1. @Amalusta Ra You will drown in your own hatred. If the guy had tazed him he still would not be able to move. I hope these crazy police officers never get around to you.

    2. @Lil bit First.I hate only criminals, with a passion, for i had to suffer all my life because of them.Second.As a truck driver i had hundred of encounters with police in my life, never had a problem. You know why ? Because i’m a civilized human being and because i always was in the wrong when they stopped me.

    3. @Amalusta Ra I have a black father, and two brothers. One a RN and the other ban attorney. None of them have ever been to jail. But you have to know your job , a lot of officers do not. People are required to spend more time getting a cosmetology license than police are when becoming cops. Being a highschool teacher , they’re are specific ways you have to interact with students. If a teacher is unable to follow protocol ,they are out. Some of these cops are not qualified and do not give a darn about it. They are the problem. They not shooting white people like that.

  6. Deep in my heart, I couldn’t be more prouder! One man took a knee and this same message was changed to hating the flag and our troops. Now the NBA, WNBA, MLB, MLS … are telling the same story and the message will not be lost. The economic loss will make sure.

    1. I care, an millions of others do too…..people of all colors, life styles. Look at all the people who have protested. No matter how much the right paints us all as looters and thugs… History will flush out the Truth! Black people’s lives matter to most of us true Americans💔🇺🇸💙

  7. NFL needs to step up to those Owners who are friends with Trump to force legislation! End qualified immunity NOW!

    1. @R3y 1245 lmao, they seem to make it exciting off the field Too like the two last year arrested for robbing. Like the dog fighting like the drugs. Like the slapping of a women. You want me to go on. Idiots.

    2. @R3y 1245 I’m sure there our. There was in football too until the knee down. Lmao guess you didn’t see the half empty stadiums.

  8. As far back as I can remember, it was said only a coward would shoot a man in the back. When did that change?

    1. missy When the person with his back turned is reaching for a weapon. Did you really need me to explain that to you? You must be seriously dumb.

    2. Please, what weapon, there was a knife in the in the glovebox, not on the driver’s side. His three kids was in the car, two officers were scared of a man with three children sitting in the car. Wow what a bunch of frighten cowards.

  9. Instead of telling patriots to “shut-up and dribble”…
Tell the guy you voted for to “shut-up and govern.”

  10. I’m so proud of them. A man who won’t stand for anything will fall for everything. When will enough be enough? Stop killing these people!

    1. @Aman Panda Be real and honest. Groups within the black community have not simply addressed the issue but tried to do something about it such as after the Million Man March in the 1990s. But those efforts were short lived because they were not given full support by the major black organizations. The truth is that black leaders and organizations prefer not to give much public attention to black on black violence saying it will be used by whites against their community which has shown not to be the case when blacks bring up the issue. It’s you who’s distorting reality that the efforts on this front have extremely wanting in comparison to the uproar over the death of blacks from police which are hundreds of times less. Imagine the effect a boycott of NBA players undertaken to bring a halt to the violence within the black community. Yet there’s inertia on that front.

    2. Your comment didn’t age well… they are back to dribbling and tap dancing ….. apparently they will stand for anything if the price is right lmao.

    3. @Livinpeace The narrative you give is not a new one, it’s been around for many decades and for a while I personally would expound it to my students. But events, extensive reading, analysis and observation has led me to recognize that it’s validity is very limited. Poor, uneducated people in every society, inc. white, have for ages been reared and pounded with that exact same message. Yet they did not fall into such a permanent state of self inflicted violence. There was more crime among them than elsewhere but that was relative. On the other hand the situation in Africa should also be considered and it’s really not that much better and in places like South Africa the same or worse. Leftist sociologists keep pulling excuses out of their hat but the explanatory power of their theories is shown to be very limited in forums where diverse views are aired. That’s why the Left has come up with the call to limit speech since it may “open the door to fascism.” Best is to get back to the basics, i.e. violence is violence and that is unacceptable if change is proceeding by peaceful means. I hope you realize that every claim of racism by blacks can be matched by a larger number of claims of unequal discriminatory treatment by whites. Turning America into a totalitarian country is hardly the solution.

    1. @speedoflite1 I am happy too that all the ticket takers, concession people, trainers, and all the people who make games work will lose their jobs and have to go on welfare while these millionaires fly off with their families to the Bahamas for a little vacation.

    2. @Willie Joe Smith Trump’s unpresidential incompetence, mismanagement, politicization of COVID: 183,000. Putin/Kim Jong-un Happy; Americans NOT! Happy
