@Special Levo ok. I am conservative who has been involved in conservative politics for a long time. I do not like Trudeau at all. That said, what leader of ANY country would give audience to a protest group. If he did meet with them he would be the weakest leader ever. You NEVER bow to a small group who demands an audience. This is politics 101. I guess every wing nut can get a meeting with the Prime Minister now. Just honk your horn and he will run to your side.

The only meaning information is that the criteria for invoking the War Measures, err, Emergencies Act, were not met.
It looks like CSIS is taking the opportunity to expand their power.

That’s a dangerous way to police your citizens. There will always be a chance of someone committing a crime but if you were to apply this logic then everyone would be guilty of a crime before they have even committed one.
