You know that the best strategy should have been 10 weeks between doses then after 2 weeks of having the second dose to stop wearing the masks to encourage natural immunity to build up protein resistance in antibodies. The US doesn’t seem to be researching these vaccines enough unlike other countries. The 2 dose vaccines should be given 8 weeks apart according to other countries, not 3 to 4 weeks. That might be why there are so many breakthrough cases. I don’t even consider them breakthrough cases at this point, because It seems many people are still getting covid even though they’re fully vaccinated. It’s pretty sad that people get vaccinated hoping to get back to normal thinking they’re protected, then find out they’re not actually fully vaccinated, and still need to wear masks, and social distance. Now we’re hearing we will need a third one. Every other day it’s something new.
We were making better progress flattening the curve before we had a vaccine.
