In fairness, answering ’yes’ or ‘no’ doesn’t always tell the full story. Take the question “Have you stopped beating your wife?”. If you answer ‘yes’ it implies you used to beat your wife, but have since quit. If you answer ‘no’, it implies your are currently beating your wife. If you never beat her or aren’t even married, then neither answer is truthful.

For those who don’t remember, this man was the unlawfully and unconstitutionally appointed acting Department of Homeland Security secretary under Trump. This is the guy who in July 2020 sent 100 federal agents to Portland, Oregon dressed in camouflage and tactical gear in unmarked vehicles who didn’t identify themselves as law enforcement while they were arresting protesters. In September of 2020, a whistleblower accused him of ordering staff to stop reporting on threats from Russia. Just a little trip down memory lane for those who have forgotten who he is.
