Accusations?…No, more like instances and specific acts that Trump committed that are federal crimes.
1- Donald Trump and Michael Cohen paid off Stormy Daniels and Karen MacDougal to keep information from the American public, to influence the election results.
Yeah, there’s a crime for that, it’s called a Campaign Finance Violation, it’s a federal law, 18 U.S. Code § 3101.
2- Mueller provided written questions to Trump, which he answered falsely, That’s called Making False Statements, 18 U.S. Code § 1001,
3- Donald Trump told Zelensky if he waanted the military aid, he’d have to release a false story that Biden was under investigation, 18 USC, sec 2001, Bribery.
4- Or when Mick Mulvaney and Trump together witheld the money from Ukraine, and Mulvaney said to the American people, “We do it all the time, get over it.”
The crime is Conspiracy to comit and Offense against the United States, 18 U.S. Code § 371
5- When Trump sent a threatening tweet, and intimidating tweet about Ambassador Marie Yavanovitch WHILE she was testifying in front of Congress, the crime is tampering with a wittness, 18 U.S. Code § 1512.
6- When Trump told all executive branch members DO NOT COMPLY with lawfully issued Congressional subpoenas. Crime is Obstructing the Proceedings of Congressional Committees, 18 U.S. Code § 1505.
Then there’s Obstruction of Justice, 18 U.S. Code § 1503.
Examples of Trump’s obstruction….
-Trump told then FBI Director James Comey, “I need loyalty. I expect loyalty.”
-Trump asked Comey to abandon the Russia investigation and let Michael Flynn go.
-Trump ordered White House Counsel Don McGahn to stop Attorney General Jeff Sessions from recusing himself in the Russia investigation.
-Trump asked Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and Director of the National Security Agency Michael Rogers to publicly deny there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russians.
-Trump fired Comey, explaining that he said to himself, “you know, this Russia thing, with Trump and Russia, is a made-up story.”
-Trump’s efforts to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller and to falsify evidence about that effort.
-Trump wrote the letter for Don jr denying the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians ever took place[A LIE] then made public statements[MORE LIES] that he knew nothing about it in an attempt to influence the investigation.
-Trump’s efforts to prevent witnesses from cooperating with investigators probing Trump and his campaign.
This list isn’t in dispute. All these crimes were committed by Trump and everyonein the country saw and of heard of them because Trump did them in full view of the public, as if he was above the law. And these aren’t my opinions, although I agree, but these are the opinions of a former federal prosecutor. So unless you have a law degree and a qualified opinion to offer, STFU MAGAT.
