Wildfire in Jasper National Park threatening power lines

An out of control wildfire in Jasper grew nearly four times in size since Saturday morning. Amanda Anderson has more.

  2. if every citizen was allowed to collect wood then forest management wouldn’t be the culprit. parks canada is responsible yet again.

  3. Canadian government need a to get active helping this. You lose too much of this park you will lose millions in revenue in tourism and our wild places.

  4. Please let nature do her thing. Yes we will lose some stuff, but we may learn how to not build in fire zones, and how to respect Nature and Cycles that may well be longer than the entire course of human evolution. We must adapt and respond by growing hemp around the planet, growing trees and jute where possible, and WORKING TO HELP NATURE RECOVER from our activities. That means growing hemp and jute everywhere.
