  1. After closing ICU beds and trying to cut costs in health care in previous years you wouldn’t have this problem today. The government’s own fault and now they blame it on COVID cases instead of themselves. POOR GOVERNMENT

    1. This has been the case all across Canada! I thought everyone forgot about the lack of funding hospitals have received for years! @kevin hill couldn’t have said it better!

    2. @Max Power It would be interesting to see how enabling more of a market-oriented approach to healthcare would aid in addressing unmet needs.

I still believe in a publicly funded healthcare system, but allowing private entities to play a greater role could prove beneficial.

  2. LOL! I saw a video where your state government is running 45 cycles for the PCR test. Hope you Canadians survive.

    1. @Andrew Webster Also last week, the Government of Manitoba’s own witness acknowledged under oath in court that the positive test results being used by authorities to justify lockdowns don’t actually verify COVID infectiousness.

Chief Microbiologist and Laboratory Specialist Dr. Jared Bullard also said that these PCR tests were never meant to diagnose respiratory illnesses.

That’s right, these test results, that drive the case counts, which are the justification for lockdowns and liability free biological products, are not accurate.

  3. There has only been a small increase in deaths from 2019 to 2020 and it is the EXACT same increase we have had over the last 10 YEARS. In other words there has been NO UNEXPECTED INCREASE over the last 10 years. What is going on?

    1. You have to consider we had lockdowns and borders were closed around the world. If those measures were not in place, there would be a lot more death.

    2. @Ocean le Evidence please? Although I respect your opinion, correlation doesn’t necessarily imply causation. Texas opened up in March and 0 deaths since that time. Florida is pretty much the same. And cases, many of which can be false positives, do not mean deaths. I echo tammy koble’s question by
      asking, “What’s going on?”

  4. I cannot believe how incompetent the government is and how they have mishandled this entire situation. Literally feels like children running our country.

  5. Trudeau and the federal government never even met with premiers to discuss a national strategy. It was just bunted to the premiers. Clearly this mayor has his eye on the Premier’s job. Wouldn’t surprise me if he ran for the Liberal leadership for the next provincial election.

  6. How about calling out the PCR tests set at 43 cycles – that just might put a stop to your case surge………………..what a sham!

    1. Lol, right, the icu’s are filling up because they were improperly tested? Critical thinking is not really a daily part of your routine is it.

    2. @Greg Stark Your internet conspiracy theories outweigh the experiences of all the ICU workers, all the testers, all the political parties, all the other countries dealing with this. Cuz that makes sense, right?

    3. @Keith Klassen last week, the Government of Manitoba’s own witness acknowledged under oath in court that the positive test results being used by authorities to justify lockdowns don’t actually verify COVID infectiousness.

Chief Microbiologist and Laboratory Specialist Dr. Jared Bullard also said that these PCR tests were never meant to diagnose respiratory illnesses.

    1. The federal Liberals who did nothing to secure our borders and allowed all the variants in? I agree!

  7. Bowman should be ashamed of himself. Clearly he doesn’t have a grasp of current health restrictions as demonstrated in his interview on a national program.

  8. Hey, Bowman. Have a look at the data on known cases/contacts. Looks like an incredible amount of spread on city transit! What are YOU going to do about that since city transit is your responsibility.
