  1. Imagine all the money that went into rebuilding after wars that could clearly have been avoided. And unlike in Iraq and Afghanistan where American contractors and labor took the majority of that budget, Ukraine has enough skilled force to do its own rebuilding. In other words, I don’t think Haliburton will be getting rebuilding contracts in Ukraine…

    1. Many will help for rebuilding , inspired by the resilience of the Ukrainians. I will be one.
The destruction and loss of life could have been prevented. ..I do not know why US , and UK, were guarantors in Budapest Memorandum..

  2. Could have prevented a part of the destruction , by supporting Ukraine, earlier in the conflict. Would have been a smaller cost . To do not talk about how many lives would have been saved.
If US and UK were guarantors in Budapest Memorandum, why did not do something in 2014 , when Putler broke the peace , invading ???? Or 2022???
Sad to see such devastation. Chechnya comes to mind. So many deaths..
Russia must pay compensations to rebuild . Sadly, cannot bring back the dead.

    1. It’s not as simple as you make it out to be. Ukraine is not part of NATO for a reason. Hopefully that will change. But I agree, Russia should pay every cent of the damage.

    2. @James Ryan Budapest Memorandum had nothing to do with NATO . Ukraine gave up nuclear and long range missiles for peace . US , Russia got the nukes, part were destroyed, Ukraine was the 3rd , as size of the arsenal. … and now begs for long range missiles to defend ????? Kh 22, hitting apartments in Ukraine , may be very well the same as the Ukrainians gave , for peace.
Ukraine applied in 2008 to NATO , only Germany and France opposed . Was and is neutral and that is why the war happened. Same for Georgia. At the time of the memorandum, many were not concerned about Russia, as seemed on a democratic direction. I would accuse Merkel and her party of being partially responsible , of having numerous , all inclusive , visits to Moscow , of Russian links, as during her term , increased the dependance on Russian resources …but will not change anything.
More that 20 countries applied since Putler is in power..about 20 got in .
My question is why was not done more , since 2014 , as per UN laws, any country can support one attacked unprovoked , especially by US and UK ,as guarantors , especially with the Georgian war in 2008 . Especially since Poland and Baltics warned about Putler and his expansionism.
Even the media coverage of the international outlets was reduced . Why ?
What means being guarantor ? Witnessing disarming a country and watching being attacked and then watching the escalation and attempts of occupation of the entire country, by the bigger neighbour ?

    1. so sad but doing it in your backyard neighborhood atrocious at the very least no one knows how this will end china pouring in russia is a big possibility ukraine is liability for russia nothing to gain all to lose.

  3. American Contractors are salivating at the prospects to gain no-bid-contracts to consume the 411billion$

  4. Well it should be up to the people if work together and supported by engineer for quake and use the building as key points

  5. The world has frozen assets of Russia and their 200B $ to fund their special operations then send it to rebuilding of Ukraine.. liquidate their assets and release the $200B, and ask Russia to pay them for the next 100yrsπŸ˜‚

  6. Russia needs to pay every penny of whatever it takes to repair and build Ukraine back to what it was before they so recklessly and without care destroyed it! Shameful! Stand with Ukraine πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ ❀ GOD Bless Everyone

  7. Ukraine’s infrastructure should be the first thing repaired in my opinion, like the power grid, water, food supply, homes, ems, hospitals, schools, roads, railroads, and businesses, to get Ukraine’s economy up and running, while restoring basic humanitarian necessities to the people. ❀ GOD Bless Everyone

    1. It’s not that simple. Most of the infrastructure you are referring to is Soviet. It’s not compatible with newer technologies. It needs to be completely replaced, not just rebuilt. BTW, I live in Kyiv.

    2. @Win Big with Lena & Mike Same, who paying in Iraq and Lybia. πŸ™‚ I cant belive its still people in this world,, who buy free promises, after all examples we have in past. πŸ™‚

  8. To the 1% reading this, may God bless you and let your dreams come true. Stay safe.

  9. Multiply every estimate to 100 to get the needed amount becuase one should account for the money that will get lost during reconstruction in a country like Ukranie

  10. Japan would and can take over from the United States and Europe to continue to aid Ukraine! ❀ Glad to see that Japan can provide more financial assistance in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine!

  11. Zelenskyy was so hysterical during his last video conference with EU leaders that they decided not to make this video public . Zelenskyy strategy is reduced to rounding up civilians often at gunpoint and throwing them into a meat grinder. It reminds a strategy of one Austrian artist in 1945.
