Hon. McIntyre made the disclosure at one of the signature events of the Reunion Independence 2008 activities- Market Day with a Difference in Roseau last Saturday.

Roosevelt Skerrit, Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Alix Boyd-Knights were among dignitaries at Heritage Day in Delices on Sunday, October 26, 2008.

 

The day featured a Church Service in the morning, followed by an Agricultural, Industrial and Artistic Exhibition at noon and climaxed with a spectacular Cultural Gala and the honouring of a Cultural Elder in the afternoon.

Government signs additional 4 million euro Grant Financing Agreements for Geothermal Energy developm

Charles Savarin, on November 07, 2008, signed three (3) financing agreements for a 4 million euro grant, with the Agence Francaise de Developpment (AFD) and the Fonds Francais pour l’Environnement Mondial (FFEM), for the further development of the geothermal energy project in the Wotten Waven area of Dominica.

AGRICULTURE MINISTER WALTER OUTLINES GOVERNMENT’S INITIATIVES TO BOOST AGRICULTURAL SECTOR

Former Cuban President, Dr. Fidel Castro Ruiz will receive Dominica’s highest award, the Dominica Award of Honour for his significant contribution to Dominica’s national development.
