Two Canadians were killed and another was injured in a shooting at a Mexican resort near Playa del Carmen on Friday, local officials have reported.

All three victims were taken to a hospital, but two died. The suspect in the shooting was also apparently a guest at the hotel and Canadian police informed them (Mexican police) he was a known felon with a long record related to robbery, drug, and weapons offenses. The Canadian police also said both of the dead also had criminal records.
Drug dealers are no great loss especially Canadian ones.
