Then NPR ran wall to wall coverage for 34 days during the ‘longest government shutdown in American history’ about how federal workers might have a delayed paycheck…all day every day. That’s more than 300 hours of coverage. How much time did they mention or talk about US immigration policy or how mass illegal immigration effected American jobs and taxes. Zero. I listened for weeks. Not once did they even mention it. The left media are so biased they wont even bring you the issues anymore…not if it would lead you to honestly consider them. So Trump gave an address from the Oval office asking for public support and the media vilified him. So he went around Congress and the Media and got Mexico to put 25,000 troops at their southern border to prevent migrations through Mexico.
Before COVID, Trump had unemployment at 3.4%, the lowest since 1969. You know what happens when unemployment is that low? Wages have to rise as companies have to compete for labor. Wages rose about 1.7% and the tax cuts of 3 or 4% gave people about a 5% boost in their income in the space of one year. Guess who didnt want wages to rise and opposed Trump and turned against him? Corporate America and Wall Street. The democrats were so threatened by this. If it wasnt for COVID trump would still be president.

I did however, obtain a transcript and I read it over carefully and there is nothing whatsoever in there that would be treasonous, seditious or even suggesting violent actions. Indeed while the disturbance was going on at the capital the Trumpster issued statements for his followers to go home and to be non-violent.
You mentioned that for years he has been ramping up his base but I wonder if we are being hypocritical? Back in 2016 mini opposed his inauguration. We had a female celebrity addressing a large gathering and stating she wish she could blow up the White House.
Many in Portland supported the nightly riots which were continuing up until the short time ago. Federal buildings were being attacked as well as state buildings and private businesses. Trump faced criticism when he sent federal troops to protect federal buildings at that time. His actions were considered unconstitutional.
Then we have the situation in Seattle with that Chop Area that was overtaken by anarchist. Several people died within that area and first responders were not allowed to enter. We’ve also seen violent clashes in Berkeley, Minneapolis and other of our very progressive cities. I believe at that time Trump contacted the political establishment in Seattle and offered federal troops and he was denied.
So, I think your statement that he has ramped up his base might be hard to prove particularly in a court of law. The big thing to understand is he will be gone in a few days. He will no longer be in office, he has promised a peaceful transition and we will have Joe and his team to lead us out of the COVID-19 nightmare and to get back or supercharged economy that we had before the virus struck the world. If Joe can accomplish those two tasks, he will be outstanding. Let’s not pay so much attention to the Trumpster and let’s make sure the Joe is successful.

The big tech companies shut down Trump and Parlar because of concern over inciting/planning violence. Biden had nothing to do with that. They are also considered private space so aren’t bounded by the 1st amendment. The 1st Amendment only guarantees that the government can’t restrict your freedom of speech.
A couple things you left out about fascism is the discrediting of the press (fake news etc.) in order to take control of national narrative and prevent negative press on the authoritarian leader and government. Fascism is also based upon nationalism where immigrants are blamed for crime and economic issues and borders are closed (the wall) to limit immigration. Fascism does work to demonize opposition parties such as the Qanon movement. The merger of aspects of business and government falls more under socialism. But many countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, Denmark, Sweden and others have a mixed economic structure and are capitalist mixed with socialized programs like Social Security in the United States and national health care in most other countries.
