When you speak poetry, be sure to lead and make examples. Not speak as if glitters make the whole cupcake more edible. 😐
The line talking about the numbness we feel .. brings to mind the numbness some people exhibit towards other humans by committing violent crimes without the slightest bit of guilt. Attacking elderly or hit and runs on pedastrians followed by minimal consequences also speaks to the numbness we feel by allowing that to continue. NIMBYism gotta love it.
Poetry is language, is song, is the first way we communicated. I love Anderson and Amanda, the GOP can’t grok this, to their detriment.
