  1. Tell the truth.. Health Canada does not have enough specialist s…..we need them….it makes NO sense
    …our procurement system is broken….we need help….so maddening….

  2. We would rather have bad excuses , than upgrading of perfecting our professionalism & compassion , that’s insane , but the truth !!!!!

  3. The U.K. given our large number of deaths treated the situation like a war so we have thrown everything at it. Our British Army logistics cmdr used 10,000 troops and hired tens of thousands of volunteers, brought nurses and Drs out of retirement. The three manufacturing plants in the U.K. will produce hundreds of millions of doses. We scaled up Genomic sequencing to the point that we do 40 percent of the world’s surveillance.

  4. Why is health Canada waiting for EU approval before approving it. Can’t they have their own decision? Are our regulators so dependent on others that they can’t make their own decisions. Shame!

  5. That’s pitiful can we blame our government where were they are we waiting for a building permit or something. I feel so helpless. Is our prime minister a dead beat?

  6. If this isn’t a wakeup call to Canadians then I don’t know what is. Just scary how we’ve decided to farm out our health security.

    1. That bit where they build up their own capacity over 9 to 10 months is damning for our own governments. Just bloody incompetent.

  7. I’m not even proud to be Canadian anymore. This country has fallen so far I don’t think it can recover and go back to the way things used to be.

    1. I have been here for 30 plus years and slowly seen Canada slide to mediocrity and general lack of competitiveness. This has been driven by the very culture of Canadians who tend to be compliant, complacent and accepting.

  8. Canadian should stop have the mentality that Canada is still one of most advanced country in the world. Canada technology and manufacturing wise is some where similar as an African country. The only reason we didn’t become a poor country is we have so much resources.
