Biden Gives Senate New Names For USPS Board; Power Shift Expected | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC 1

Rachel Maddow reports that President Joe Biden has submitted the names of three new nominees to the USPS board, which, if confirmed, are expected to be sufficient to shift the balance of power in a way that would not favor Louis DeJoy continuing as postmaster general. Aired on 03/16/2021.

  1. Finally! I’m really tired of how horrible dejoy has made the usps this past couple years…

@Wesley Middleton May 2020 and started his destruction as soon as he got in.

@That One Girltrying to knee cap mail in voting alone should have warranted dismissal, there are other stand alone examples as well.

Dejoy started in May of 2020. He was planted there to gum up the postal service to prevent mail-in ballots from being delivered and counted on time thus tipping the scales of the election in Trump’s favor. Obviously it backfired.

    • @Wesley Middleton IKR he made a mess in no time. Course if you have ever led even a pack of boy scouts you know that it is easy to undo procedure and policy. If you never have been a leader, than to you it seems like “only”

  2. Get ride of this criminal stooge

    • Yes, get rid of him. He needs some prison time. Maybe facing prison he’ll fess up and say he was following orders from trump.

  3. Wasn’t he under investigation for making his employee give donation to republican campaigns then reimbursed them as a bonus?

  4. I’ll be happy once DeJoy is gone. He almost sabotaged the 2020 election by screwing with the postal service just before it.

Get rid of this clown sooner rather than later.

  6. Louis DeMisery.

  7. It’s illegal to slow or stop the mail. Dejoy needs to be indicted by the Grand Jury!

  8. No joy with Dejoy, get rid of the orange flunky.

Lock him up for interfering with Federal mail.

Why isn’t he in jail for slowing and interfering in delivery of mail

  11. Pamela Mattox | March 16, 2021 at 4:42 AM | Reply

moving out. Another grifter and thief, good riddance

  12. The mail delivery has been abysmal since this man took control. He’s as qualified for the position as the clown who appointed him.

Louis DeJoy can tell his grandchildren stories of how he systematically destroyed the post office. He will have to carry this with him the rest of his life. How do these people live with themselves?

    • Because he was placed there to intentionally destroy it and replace it with the private sector…his company and his cronies. He is compromised as he is heavily invested in this type of transportation/delivery business. So, the narrative to his grandchildren would have been “See, your grandpa was a brilliant businessman who was savvy and entered the delivery market and made you billionaires!”
All Trump appointees were this. DeVos has heavy stakes in private education and student loan companies.
“The best and the brightest” as they say…ugh!

    • They don’t. They have no soul and money is their God.

    • Counting their money & laughing at the morons who throw it at them legitimizes them. They’re so shallow you can see thru them, unless you’re a retRumplican… Then you’re blind!!

    • Money is their god

Having no conscience and a worship of money helps.

The post office is still a wreck, Trump’s dude needs to go.

  15. We should have a lottery. The winner gets to tell this dipstick he’s fired.

  16. Here in America we have XL Garbage dumpsters don’t we, That’s where Louis DeJoy belongs.

  17. Abigail Eager | March 16, 2021 at 7:36 AM | Reply

Now he just needs to get rid of the Trump appointed Social Security commissioner Andrew Saul.

  18. A judge already issued a summery that, Trump Tool, was attempting to slow mail. Criminals need to be held accountable.

  19. Elizabeth White | March 16, 2021 at 9:24 AM | Reply

Purge then prosecute DeJoy for his role in attempting to disenfranchise American voters.

This guy made people suffer for not getting their meds thru the post… Just disgusting

    • Some even died ,like my uncle didn’t get meds he needed for two weeks after he died.

    • Datum Informatics | March 24, 2021 at 3:26 AM | Reply

@Bobbie Angel So sorry to hear that. I wasn’t personally affected but deeply bothered by the situation. Condolences to u and Ur family … And to anyone else who suffered because of this #DejoyIsEvil
