Federal student loan payments will resume in May. This is to relieve those struggling with the effects of the pandemic.

WHY are they taking out LOANS in the first place? There are SO many grants out there, most are never used. Many eighteen and overs don’t realize if they MOVE out of their parents house, get an apartment ( even sharing with other people their ages), they are independent and DO NOT have to use their parents income on their applications. Take a year, so you don’t. Then apply for your grants. Read up on the FASFA ( grants) !
Just wipe the debt away. Let the middle class push through so it doesn’t snowball once we rebuild after pandemic comes to a close.

WHY are they keeping young adults “ babies “ for so long? There’s thirty something’s still living in mommies house scared to death to LIVE! I was seventeen when I had my first child ( had inherited two children from my husbands first marriage at sixteen), had six children by the time I was twenty five. Became a Nurse, and we sent all our kids to college that wanted to go. They came out just fine, we LIVED life, and made mistakes. Cried, laughed, buried our oldest son but we made it!
@Serina Trevino I started with a G E D, and as a CNA in a nursing home, working hard pulling doubles. Three to eleven and eleven to seven, so I could be home with my babies most of the day. My kids all played sports, I was President of the HeadStart, Volunteer Parent of the year for twelve years. Made homemade baked goods for my kids snacks at school, and made homemade costumes for Holloween ! I was the parent that took everyone to Bible school in the summer, all the sports events and all the school dances. Lol .

Nobody paid off my student loans but ME💯 Why should my tax dollars pay off a loan someone else signed for?💯🤮👎🏽
It won’t effect me because I understand the concept of borrowing responsibly and am now debt free.
Paid off my student loans in early 2018.
