Elijah was in aurora. That department is known all across Colorado for being terrible. Not saying boulder is much better (can’t really say since almost all the population is white) but they don’t have a strong history of this compared to aurora

I was born and raised on Colorado, I remember when the first school shooting happened everyone was shocked. Colorado has always in my eyes been safe. I moved away in 2012 and I cannot believe what is going on, it’s just a mess. Boulder has always been a free spirit place im so shocked. I just my heart breaks of the people who lost loved ones this should have never ever ever happened!
What do you think, if anything, could/should be done to prevent such tragedies from happening again?
