  1. On 27 February 1933, as the campaign moved into its final, frantic days, the Reichstag, the German Parliament building, was set on fire and burnt down. An atmosphere of panic and terror followed the event.

This continued when a young Dutch communist, Van der Lubbe was arrested for the crime.

The Nazi Party used the atmosphere of panic to their advantage, encouraging anti-communism. GΓΆring declared that the communists had planned a national uprising to overthrow the Weimar Republic. This hysteria helped to turn the public against the communists, one of the Nazis main opponents, and 4000 people were imprisoned.

The day after the fire, Hindenburg signed the Emergency Decree for the Protection of the German People. BBC CNN ABC

    1. @Marc Lewis Read it again, darling. Sometimes that helps: “The Nazi Party used the atmosphere of panic to their advantage, encouraging anti-communism. GΓΆring declared that the communists had planned a national uprising to overthrow the Weimar Republic. This hysteria helped to turn the public against the communists, one of the Nazis main opponents, and 4000 people were imprisoned.”

    2. @Keith Hoss said _Oh, that incoherent rant sounded like a Trumpanzee_
The hurled feces is the usual tip off… πŸ˜†

  2. Trump and everyone who worked for him except the ones who had the guts to testify. They should be charge with all the murders on the J-6 and the COVID-19 this man has done nothing but damage. AG CHARGE THIS MAN ALREADY.

    1. @JM I’d be in favor of charging anyone that says they support Trump on or after January 7th as an accessory-after-the fact. It carries the same punishment as the act itself.

    2. No evidence! You must have been watching fox entertainment ? You poorly misguided individual

  3. I’m very sorry for the loss of your brother Mr. Ken and Brian Sicknick and the rest of the family and friends. 😒 Prayers for your healing πŸ™ I hope to God that this monster gets arrested because it was his fault for lying.

    1. @Oppression Olympics –

      – *Ashli Babbitt was a good veteran turned rogue by far-right propaganda. She was shot breaking and entering the Capitol building after being warned multiple times by Capitol police to leave the area and disperse.* (I guess *she should have listened to Fucker Tarelson and Sean Hammittup,* who had spent the previous summer barking *”If you ignore the lawful orders of a uniformed police officer, you’re gonna get what you’re asking for.”)*

*Kevin D. Greeson* died of a *heart attack,* collapsing on the sidewalk west of the Capitol on Jan. 6.

*Rosanne Boyland* appeared to have been *crushed in a stampede of fellow rioters* as they surged against the police.

*Benjamin Philips,* the founder of a pro-Trump website called *”Trumparoo,”* *died of a stroke.*

Mr. Greeson and Mr. Philips died of natural causes, the Washington medical examiner said in April. He added that Ms. Boyland’s death was caused by an accidental overdose.

*Officer Brian D. Sicknick* of the Capitol Police, who was *attacked by the mob, beaten nearly to unconsciousness and gassed as he lay bleeding, died on Jan. 7.*

I wonder if your head hurts.

  4. It breaks my heart to see Officer Sicknick’s family and how they are still hurting while the one who caused all of this never sheds a tear for anyone except himself. There is no reason this had to happen. I can only imagine how devastating this is for them.

    1. @Tom Even in the state of Denial it’s still considered murder to kill someone even if they’d die for another reason. It’s why Jack Kevorkian went to prison.

    1. @Marie Lucas i have reported every one of these posts today to moderators. Stop your nonsense and get a job.

    2. Chaos obviously because it’s been that way for decades now…Way before Trump was in D.C πŸ’―

  5. My condolences to all the officers and staff who suffered that day, and to the people who was brainwashed by lies. One day I pray we can all come together and work together in peace.β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

    1. Stop believing the lies these foul people are telling you about everything, and perhaps there’s a chance.

  6. So very sad that our country—United States of America has come to this! A wise 93 year old woman stated a very bad man was elected into office. Now we will have to see how that turns out. I’m glad she didn’t live long enough to see it. To the Sicknick family so truly, truly sorry for your loss and this continued horror show!

    1. @Sean Embry If the cause of death was related to Jan. 6, criminal charges would have been filed. End of story.

    1. @Joel Rodriguez aint that the truth, hell imm 55 and had a stroke last year, i didnt pass but life sure is diffrent for me now

  7. I think all of his Secret Service detail
Should come under scrutiny. If it is
proven that they chose loyalty to Trump over loyalty to the Constitution
    they should be prosecuted and
    loose their pensions.

  8. Yes!!! He’s at fault for starting all the behavior of his “supporters turned fanatics”.

    The brother says it all!!

  9. It’s very upsetting seeing and listening to the family of this murdered officer. May God comfort them and fold his arms around officer Sicknick.

    1. @Brenden Lol ? Would you agree officers were beaten ? I’m sure you’ve seen that video right ? That’s not bad enough for you ?

  10. I am so very sorry for the loss of your son and brother. He lost his life in defense of Democracy.

  11. “They stayed with him for 4 years and let this happen; so they’re culpable too, big time.” Absolutely right! Trump’s enablers are as much to blame for this attack on democracy, and the lives that were lost.

  12. Having an underlying health issue that exposes yourself to increased risk especially where the duties involved with your profession are so demanding and stressing as with being a police officer then it’s entirely on you if chose to work in that field and those risks manifest in the harming of your health.
If this guy thought he was just going to be working a desk or handing out speeding tickets and not ever be involved in confrontational dangerous situations with members of the public then he should’ve looked for a different line of work.
