@Kathey Hall-Elias California has the one of the largest populations and some of the biggest cities in the countries. So you take the median income of each person and multiply it by millions if people living here it adds up. Even with lower incomes it would still add up. It might not be the shining city on the hill especially if you have Hollywood making an exit to Georgia and tech companies leaving for Texas.

We saw how that logic played out on a federal level. We ended up with the worst supreme court we could’ve fathomed, and set ourselves back even further behind the rest of the first world.
We can’t make reckless decisions out of spite, or to try to teach someone a lesson. Things can always get worse.
