  2. Fascinating that someone would sign up for a mortgage payment like that. $2800 in interest a month. $500 in property tax. And they say Renting is throwing money away…

    1. @At Home rent in Ottawa is $1400-$2600 a month. Mortgages on those houses are $3800-$4800 a month, taxes are $300-$700 a month and maintenance is $5000 a year minimum. The landlord isn’t thanking anyone 😂, he’s going broke.

    1. Doesn’t make much sense to me either. There are houses on the market listed in the low 600’s that have been there for two months without takers. Last year theyd of brought $800 all day long. I’d like to see what these $650k houses look like.
