    1. A presidential candidate should have to pass the same citizenship test as immigrants, as well as understand basic civics and political science. Mitch hated that Trump did not know who has what abilities and duties and what he could not do, as President.

    2. Having a Chief Executive who could pass a basic functional literacy test, a supreme leader who actually READS, and I mean things other than the headlines in the conservative tabloids, might be a good place to start.

    1. Q Tayloor Green got 75% of the vote at the last election.
She will probably get even more at the next.
This is what the GOP has become now, delusional anti-intellectuals who hate democracy.

    2. @Cold Beer it’s time to leave the cult before you lose whatever brains you have left.
Your cult leader is no more

    3. @S McDonald I heard her district NE corner of GA is being redistricted; I don’t think she will be reelected

  1. No problem! Baby Donnie still has Lou Dobbs to champion his causes! Oh wait, FOX just canned Lou for doing such a good job? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  2. Amen! I’m glad to see at least a handful of decent minded Republicans. The rest have gone the way of greed and corruption. The devil always catered to the vain

    1. Yes, the vain, the hubristically ambitious, and the tribalistically self-serving. The 21st century Tea/Trumpublican party fully embodies ALL of those defective character attributes.

  3. So when is a Republican going to say that they were wrong all along and they want to work with us? Why do we need to wait for that person to come to us before we do what needs to be done? If they need a polite invitation before they’ll join the right side of history, just let them go down with their ship. It’s the choice they always choose to make.

  4. When a life long republican comes out and says “yeah the left was right about everything” should tell you everything about the current GQP

    1. You are RIGHT!. The world saw EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED FROM DEBATE. where PROUD BOYS were asked to stand by!. ELECTION LOST BY DONALD TRUMP, The world turned UPSIDEDOWN. He started CIVIL WAR WHICH HE PROMISED. l hope DEMOCRATS WILL PROVIDE PICTURES & WITHNESSES INCLUDING THOSE ARRESTED, ELECTION COLLEGES AND FBI. Also include MUELLERS REPORTS!!. please. Look!, if they don’t PROVIDE THESE GROUPS, THEY WILL LOOSE THIS 2ND IMPEACHENMENT. SHOW THE WORLD THAT YOU ARE OUT FOR ACCOUNTABILITY THAT LEADS TO UNITY. Confession goes with forgiveness any where. And if possible LET IT BE A SECRET VOTE.!

  5. Next Republicans will be howling during the mid-terms that’s not who they are today, those votes were in the past.

    1. @Cold Beer 456,000 Americans dead from COVID-19; 5,116 in one day, today’s statistics. Go straight to h*ll, troll.

  6. *Personally, I think the gop needs to go back to polishing their pistols and counting money and reminiscing about the good ‘ol days! Oh, and hiring some good lawyers who specially in criminal defense and tax law!*

    1. Actually, there IS. But it operates covertly behind the public veil. And two of its “unseen guiding hands” presently are the extremist pro-Trump Teapublican party funders Robert and Rebekah Mercer.
We lost a towering theatrical performer this week, Hal Holbrook. And as the political historical character “Deep Throat” that he brilliantly portrayed and famously says in the film All The President’s Men, about the dark forces at work behind the Richard Nixon Watergate White House criminal conspiracy and subsequent cover-up…

      “Follow the money.”

    2. Mimi – I agree with you, excepting one change . . . the 2nd “l” in your sixth word should be an ‘n’.

  7. yet just like with trump, so many willingly let themselves be lied to as they continue to donate to these two

  8. Those 199 votes from Republicans showed how they embraced everything that she stands for ! This was their chance to say wrong is wrong and your actions won’t be tolerated .

  9. soulless hypocrites who couldn’t even stand up against crime and insanity from their president for the good of the nation

  10. This is one of those crossroads moments in history. Does the US want to be a white supremacist republic? If not, I’d strongly suggest getting the coup supporters out of Congress, as well as the military.
