    1. @Lee – Child of God Here’s another good one that doesn’t even require the biases of a specific individual (like a police officer). Look at the disproportionate impact of the corona virus on white populations vs. black populations.

    2. @fordprefect294 Can you explain that a bit more please? What impacts are you speaking about that don’t affect the w h i t e population?

    3. @Lee – Child of God You’ve been pulled over for speeding or having a taillight out and legitimately thought “I hope today isn’t the day a police officer murders me?”. If so, that’s terrible. But you’ll forgive my disbelief that this situation happens to a lot of white people.

    1. @Chavez Chavez they had the Comanche. They currently have the Gladiator. I’m sure Italians are upset about that name.

His departure hurt no one, and his return helped no one.

But by all means, feel free to prove me wrong.

I dont need politicians to survive a winter snap you clown. Lol

  1. Hey chief dont forget about the Piper Cherokee aircraft.

    Soon to follow:
    Chevy Apache & Cheyenne
    Dodge Dakota
    Ford Thunderbird
    Jeep Comanche
    Mazda Navajo
    PONTIAC deleted
    Pontiac Aztec
    Winnebago

This dont even count all the US military aircrafts named after Indians..

    1. @skin e Well actually after the Cherokee were well mixed with European culture and blood they forced them on a trail of attrition where thousands died. While I’m not Cherokee enough to consider myself a Cherokee, most of my Cherokee friends had English, Irish, Scottish names and were Baptists or similar faiths etc and this is how they came to Oklahoma originally. Andrew Jackson hated Indians and the Cherokee suffered for it needlessly.

    2. @Protolamna yeah i know a bit about that, just from standard learning the subject. Really what im saying is if native names are used in products if they are given credit say in every jeep cherokee commercial its said somehow, and put them in a good light, wouldnt that be ok? I feel like more recognition would be good if done right. I know it could be hard to differentiate “using” natives and their words for profit and actually showing appreciation, and im just being hopeful here

    3. @Roger Corbitt but that was in honor of people from India that for some reason put feathers on their head? How about a Pakistan motorcycle?

  2. Adventurous outdoorsy go anywhere vehicle has reliable horsepower is all Chrysler’s saying..paying tribute isn’t disrespectful

    1. Shouldn’t it be up to the people who’s name you’re using without permission to decide if they’re feeling respected or not?

  3. 🤐🙈😘😳😬😖😖😖😖 Jesus……. anything to attract attention. Even if it means seeing problems where there aren’t any ! BTW, I am part native and I love the Grand Cherokee !!!!!

  4. I think that this is a little overblown. A lot of people don’t even associate the name Cherokee jeep with the Indian tribe. By putting out this interview. He just exposed this to the world in a sense. Thier are non Indian people name Cherokee. Is that offense’s also.
