    1. January 20th 2021, 12:00 high noon to be exact is the moment. I have my dancing shoe’s shined & ready to go & I’m gonna party like its New Yrs. Eve 1999-2000!

    1. The senate itself should be disbanded!
It is an _illegitimate_ institution which does not represent the American people.

  1. Good one Chris Hayes! I live in California and that behavior by our government is absolutely hypocritical. Cut me a break please. Politics

  2. Please DO NOT feed the Trolls. They can be relatively easy to spot: no avatar, simplistic names. few if any subscribers, simple but inflammatory statements and recent join dates (from their channel about pages). Test yourself and try to find one troll or bot on the page. Then ignore them and their ability to distract, disrupt, divide and upset us is greatly diminished. Oh, don’t forget you can mute trolls and report them to YouTube if necessary. (See YouTube policies.)
T.H.I.N.K is the acronym children are taught to safely navigate cyber space but it applies to everyone. Ask yourself: T = Is it true? H = Is it helpful? I = Is it informative/inspirational? N = Is it necessary? And the big one, K = Is it kind? These cyber security skills take practice but are well worth it when you stop yourself from answering a troll or just say goodbye.
Please share this post so we all learn how to better manage our social media activity. Also, limiting your time on social media is one of the best self-care steps you and your loved ones can take – even five minutes a day. And music helps too with stress, anxiety and depression management. Take care out there, mask up, and thank you.

  3. It’s not that the Fascist GOP “don’t believe” that the Covid19 Health Crisis is real, it’s that they don’t want trump’s cult to believe it. This is pure manipulation for their own self-serving, evil ends. They don’t care about Democracy. They don’t care who dies (including their constituents). They only care about maintaining their positions of power and wealth, and the entitlements of they’re so fond.

    1. Did you forget this genocidal virus is contageous? Even if you could not care less if a specific person gets it – they are still gonna pass it on to others. And they to more others, and so on.

Every case is a bad thing.

    1. In theory, two weeks _could_ make a BIG difference. But it would basically require a national curfew, including tightly regulating when and how people could go grocery shopping, and everyone – *everyone* – complying and cooperating. And everyone continuing extremely strict social distancing and contact hygiene regiments for monthd afterwards.

That’s just not happening in the US. There’s no where near enough political and legal will, trust, and interest in the common good for fellow citizens. Not among the large, polarized array of leadership, nor the population at large.

  4. Australian retired registered nurse: I am completely gobsmacked at how royally screwed up the American response has been to Covid-19. Every single citizen is responsible for protecting fellow citizens. You’ve failed tragically as a country and shown just how little you care for each other.God help you if all your doctors and nurses burn out, as they appear to be. God help you all because you can’t seem to help yourselves. Smh. Stay safe.

    1. I’m watching from Canada. I don’t think we’re doing that well ourselves and I blame some of that on trump because unfortunately he has his fans here too but what I see in the states is truly horrifying. The disbelief is unbelievable

    2. Well said Suzanne. I couldn’t agree more and I really do not understand why there are so many elderly incompetent Senators still working in politics. They really should retire and give younger members a fair go. Their behaviour and ignorance concerning this virus is alarming.

    3. About half the population here are so stupid they don’t believe it is even real. They consume news outlets that feed them lies and propaganda. Many of us here honestly have no idea how to wake these people up to reality. It has not always been this way. 🙁

    4. @scrubjay93 to be honest I think you need to chip away at it, work on the 10-20% so called sane Republicans and just write off the other cultists as you will never change their views.

  5. It’s almost like we need some kind of “person” to “lead” Americans in the right direction. This could easily end up being the deadliest 63 days in more than a century.

    1. Im 60 and got asthma Im not trying to be with any other new different people at all with protection. Cant walk or talk near me without protection .a colleague had virus and she had no symptoms except no food taste .we’re too close to getting a vaccine .playing the odds to live

    1. You are kidding, right? They are the worse of the worse. I’m not a Democrats. or a Republikkkan but. If I have to choose between them. I will choose Democrats. I voted for Biden because I think he will accomplish what trump didn’t want to. To control the virus.

  6. The super superspreader with orange face is the one causing these exponential increases in cases through the huge turnout he boasted of his election rallies.

    1. He’s not alone. That’s the point of this video. Leadership is failing, and it’s not purely Republican leadership, either (though, let’s be honest, a big big chunk of it is Republican ever since Trump decided to politicize the mask).

This shouldn’t be partisan at all. There shouldn’t be any politics involved in saving lives. Democrats aren’t somehow “more” bad than Republicans when they set a bad example — they are equally bad. Everyone should be wearing masks and practicing social distancing. Everyone. If you belong to the human party, maybe you could try fighting for that party instead of on behalf of the virus killing thousands of us every day in this country. Is it really that hard to figure out we’re all humans first?

  7. In less than one year the Trump spread virus has killed more than half the number of people killed in four years in WW11

  8. Glad to see Chris Hayes calling out careless Democrats too. I am absolutely sick of lying Republicans, but some of these Democrats are just as bad, when they think people aren’t looking. Seriously, if we would all get together on the seriousness of this virus and how to behave, we could have had this under control months ago. Learn from Physicians and do not trust politicians.

  9. These people not wearing masks feel superior and know that the virus is only deadly to minorities, the poor, and old people. It’s genocide and they are evidently okay with that.

  10. What is Trump doing
    Pence what are you doing
    Congress what are you doing
    Senate what are you doing
    The house of fool’s
