  2. As an African American man an American and a Democrat who grew up in a union house(Steel Workers) this hurts and it’s a true lost not just for the Unions or our country but for human kind…Rest in peace sir!

  3. Rest well, fine soldier of the working class. Unions and unionism is the best chance workers have. Anyone who disbelieves this should throw away their safety vest, steel capped boots, better pay and hard hat…. all the stuff unions gave you.

  4. Didn’t MSNBC just finish busting the Union of over 200 of its employees???
Sorry Chris, your network’s hypocrisy is showing.

  7. I was fortunate to meet Mr. Trumka at an AFL-CIO gathering a few years ago. When he learned I was a federal Union President, he shared his thoughts with me during a very energizing discussion! Since this was during the horror of trumpf and his Union busting Executive Orders, I really needed his words of encouragement. I will remember him forever.

  8. I watched this guy on a couple of TV interviews just 5 or 6 days ago. One never knows unfortunately.

  9. I’ve never heard of a man until today but that short speech he gave me chills may he rest in peace.
