  1. “Yeah but standing up for victims of war crimes is anti-semitic” – Democratic House Leadership, apparently

    1. @Constantine 1.) Israel fired rubber bullets, tear gas, etc, at worshippers at Al Aqsa mosque on May 7th.
2.) Israel needs to provide hard proof that Palestinians were stockpiling rocks there.
3.) A few days later, rockets are fired into Israel in retaliation.
4.) Isreal fires rockets into Gaza and attacks again.
5 ) The UN rights chief says she has seen no evidence to back Israel’s claims buildings it destroyed in Gaza housed armed groups.

      The airstrikes:

      • Destroyed over 2,000 homes

      • Hit about 50 schools, 20 media outlets

      • Damaged 17 health centers

      • Damaged 50% of the water network

      • Israel uses mass bulldozing of homes, bans construction projects, and uses collective punishment.

      • Israel has placed its bases near civilian areas,.

      • For Gaza, Isreal limits humanitarian aid to the bare minimum calories needed for survival.

      • Four children were shot by Israeli’s when close enough to soldiers though separated by a fence, to discern that they were children.

We all know that Israel blew up all those media centers in Palestine because they don’t target civilians and have nothing to hide!!! /sarcasm.

Ronald Reagan stopped the selling of cluster bombs to Israel because they were using them indiscriminately.

All of this is adamantly against the Torah.

Ronald Reagan of all people stopped the selling of cluster bombs to Israel because they were using them indiscriminately.

    3. @Ray Mack You missed the part where Arabs threw molotov cocktails, stones and bottles down on Jews innocently praying at the Kotel. The police had to enter the mosque, because that is where the attackers had stored their weapons. Once again, a racist blames the victim of a violent attack.

  2. “The reason they call it the American Dream is because you have to be asleep to believe it.” George Carlin

    1. An Islamic Terrorist is someone who uses women and children as human shields…..HAMAS, Taliban, Al Shabaab, Hizbalah, ISIS….the list goes on.

  3. All nations, all political groups, are equal before the law.
If they commit crimes, they should be held accountable.
This applies to the US, to Israel, to Hamas, to the Taliban.
This is a simple message, and the annoying part of this is, that we still have to discuss about this, and that it matters, who is delivering this message.

    1. YES. Yes to Rep. Omar (she’s freaking awesome). Yes to your entire comment. Isn’t that what we’re supposed to be all about?? I’m beyond annoyed that this even has to be an issue.

    2. @Jennifer Warren yes yes just because one side does beheadings n terrorist bombings n the other might create collateral damage during conflict doesn’t mean they aren’t the same.

  4. Mr. Hayes is one of the few people on mainstream media making this point, unfortunately.

    1. I miss hearing Chris Hayes’ cheerful voice at the end, where he would tell us about “lots of other great videos”. Now, they’re just playing the same silly music at the end of everything — quite literally “stringing” us along.

  5. Not to derail or sidetrack this thread, but it’s vital that America, too, is held accountable for her war crimes – it’s a travesty of justice that American soldiers abroad can perpetuate war crimes overseas, and then – Nothing.

I hope one day the ICC can hold America – and all countries, regardless of who or where they are – accountable for their crimes against humanity.

  6. It is interesting that Palestinians in Gaza are effectively in prison, held there by the Israelis, yet criticizing that is not acceptable.

  7. I’m so glad to see you calling this out. Dem leadership is way off the mark in their handling of Rep. Omar on this matter.

  9. This is true. Live away from the USA for awhile, then you get a clearer view of American Politics. Don’t get me wrong, I am still Patriotic, just with open eyes.

  10. “Well, it’s a trick, we always use it. When from Europe somebody is criticizing Israel, then we bring up the Holocaust. When in this country people are criticizing Israel, then they are anti-Semitic … And it’s very easy to blame people who criticize certain acts of the Israeli government as anti-Semitic, and to bring up the Holocaust, and the suffering of the Jewish people, and that is justify everything we do to the Palestinians.”
