  1. Pathetic “leaders” in state of Texas. They don’t take responsibility for incompetent planning. Snowstorm was known. Apologies don’t keep people warm and safe. Morons. Sad and disgusting.

    1. People, kids have died. Is anyone going to be held accountable? This was avoidable, people should go to prison.

  2. The judge is unfortunately correct. Once this crisis is over the people of TX will forget and vote in a bunch of lying Republicans again!

    1. @Rootytoottoot I live in Texas and very happy to be out of communist California , what a dump L.A and other cities have become and I am glad.to be out of that state ,it’s a model for how not to do things , and why businesses and citizens are fleeing by the thousands

    2. @Salty Sailor I think you’re giving him way, way too much credit for being able to think critically. Good for you for trying, though.

    3. @Don m hey, it’s your funeral.
Just don’t shoot too many snowflakes trespassing on your property, they’ll be back with friends. 😆

  3. The insurance fallout after this is going to be a whole separate crisis for America. Will need a massive federal bailout.

    1. Insurance? If the crisis is big enough won’t the insurance companies bail on their policies? Didn’t that happen after Katrina?

  4. Let me know where I need to donate to make sure these images get played on all media when Abbott and Cruz are up for re-election.

    1. They really should have mentioned Abbott, Bush and other republicans have received MILLIONS from these ‘energy producers’. It’s all public info, MSNBC need to highlight that very important point. Something tells me they won’t.

  5. This is what’s so funny about the people of Texas who constantly criticized liberals.
Texas is now going to pass a law that requires the taxpayers of Texas to upgrade the equipment of a private company.
    WTF?

    1. Just like republicans take taxes from the poor give to the rich.. Poor act like dogs run ning after their masters in the state of Texas

  6. The rest of the world looks on in astonishment. Republicans are making America look like a third world country. The sad thing is, people will still vote for republicans. Smh!

    1. They will blame Democrats leader and actions. But when it comes to their own they will deny and deflect and would never take responsibility. At least Democrats will hold their officials responsible to some extent if there is any wrongdoings

    2. They really should have mentioned Abbott, Bush and other republicans have received MILLIONS from these ‘energy producers’. It’s all public info, MSNBC need to highlight that very important point. Something tells me they won’t.

  7. AOC raised over a million dollars for Texas relief, what did Ted Cruz do…he went to Cancun and the governor lied.

    1. @Gregg O’Neill those windmills could’ve of been winterized for freezing temperatures. They said that they are everywhere where winter is.
      Texas choose not to.
That wasn’t the problem the same thing happened in 2011 they didn’t do anything about the problem insulation.
They aren’t on a back up grid they went solo there ate to grids one for the east coast of them and the west coast.
Now they need the Federal Government to help fix the problem.

    2. Meanwhile, the billionaire Jerry Jones Dallas Cowboys owner made millions jacking up gas prices to over $1,000 per unit.

    3. @Gina Mazyck Yeah, except those windmills weren’t the major load. The coal and natural gas systems ALSO needed to be winterized.

There’s been reports on this for years.

  8. Has the Judge been invited to the Fox yet? He needs to go to Fox and give the same interview so that people HAVE THE INFORMATION NEEDED to insist on change.

  9. It’s nice to know we have adults in the room in DC again, but so sad that TX won’t benefit the way the rest of us will because their state leaders are so craven.

  10. Hoping O’Rourke and Castro will run again! They may have a better chance especially if they remind them of this horrific time.

    1. Yea and Beto is out actually helping people whole Cruz taking a trip to Cancun to run away from responsibility

  11. Pretty sad when a Judge has been talking but the Governor hasn’t even reached out to Mayor’s of their own State..

  12. This HAPPENS REPEATEDLY and the GREEDY PEOPLE making money of a failing system, are the problem. CHANGE THE POLICIES.
