  1. America is so lucky that trump isn’t smarter than he is if he were more skilled America would truly be lost . If Biden and the Democrats are successful they must put rules in place to prevent the rise of another wannabe dictator .

    1. @Marcus Phaeton you must be on the pipe. The last 4 Repuklicans lost 3 out of 4 popular votes. The Electoral College is the way to hoodwink elections. They can’t win, like the Orange one said if it was straight across the board.

    2. @Anthony Jones Yup, the electoral college is a “hoodwink” LOL! 58 elections over 230 years and they’ve never been a problem until the cry baby libs started loosing. It’s not a modern phenomena – John Quincy Adams, Rutherford B. Hayes and Benjamin Harrison all won the presidency but lost the popular vote (Bush and Trump are the only recent ones, not sure who you’re counting 3/4 last republicans?). 9 SCOTUS justices were always enough until now too, but dems need to pack the court because they can’t win the white house. Dems just want to “tear down the system” because they can’t win by playing by the rules. Might as well impeach as a political tactic too, screw the high crimes and misdemeanors clause – audacity to fill an open SCOTUS seat is good enough to impeach, LOL! They want to pack the states too – make PR and DC states, nice reliable democrat votes… demos = pathetic losers.

    1. @Devin. I have often thought the US Empire is in decline, just like the British or Roman Empire.

It’s only in hindsight that one can see it. JMHO but I think the way the GOP decided to treat Obama was the beginning of the end.

All that hate all that refusal to work with a new legitimately elected leader stirred up and grew all the hate in your society just simmering below the surface.

And it permitted some one like a Trump to jump to the front and get elected. I’m not surprised the Senate did nothing to corral him, and they will pay hugely for not making more of an effort. The end of the GOP as we know it and this is welcome news.

    2. @Keith Johnson – Shelby GT500 Have you looked at a variety of sources for your figures? They are flawed. We were heading into a horrible recession the last years of Bush’s terms and like controlling a run-away freight train, Obama had to spend time putting on the brakes, so of course the first year or two look bad. The recession was at its worst in 2008, before Obama took office.

    3. @Keith Johnson – Shelby GT500 Contract, part-time and low paying jobs have replaced good jobs though, so many more people today are getting 2-3 jobs and barely making it when it used to be one job could sustain a family.

Also EVEN if these numbers were correct, and contract jobs were not replacing good jobs… you won’t have a country left if Trump manages to win another 4 years. You guys are heading straight for a DICTATORSHIP. I know there are Trumpists out there actually ROOTING for this to happen, but remember that Dictators DON’T. NEED. VOTERS.
Fox News and other right wing propaganda might be creating this comforting bubble for Trump voters, but the rest of the world sees what is happening with the US and where it is heading. I can promise you that every other country knows the US Empire is presently collapsing and that a Trump Dictatorship is on the horizon.

Your reputation abroad is completely demolished and the US no longer is the great powerful leading nation it was still under Obama (like him or not). Other countries are now competing for this role, while the US is losing in reputation, status, reliability and influence all over the world. Trump is NOT making you guys ”win”. You just don’t see it yet because Fox News is lulling you into a bubble of false security (and reality).

  2. George Washington – “I can not tell a lie”
Donald Trump – “I can not tell the truth”
Trump supporters – “I can not tell the difference”

    1. @Richard T I’ve reported “him” and his cronies.. for any of the worst offenses, because the choices are limited.. there is no “being a numbskull” or “being a trolling comrade-ski”.

    2. @Jukka Järvinen well, I wish those AI muscles would get huge fast.. punch each & every one of them in the crotch.

    1. @Jonelle Patterson you’re welcome, my pleasure. As far as the 25th amendment or any other law for that matter, nothing will work if those who are supposed to enforce the laws don’t have the integrity to do it. As I am sure you know, we have a Congress that supports illegal and grossly unethical behavior. As long as it remains that way, laws are just ink on paper. Sadly, even voting him out may not work because, there are enough republican legislatures in various states to rig the number of electoral votes (that’s their current plan… the supreme court is plan B). It seems the only way is, not only to vote but, to hand him a crushing defeat and, to remove as many republicans from the senate as possible. Decency and Democracy are fighting an uphill battle.

    2. John PrivateLastName I think it will actually be really easy prove Trump as traitor (while no one should be called that before the proof).

Only thing US military need to do is to recheck all Russian movement after Helsinki meeting. It was very clear that meeting was some kind of peak moment for Putin. He was really really happy and laughing all the way back to Moscow. If this would be a bad movie Trump declassified *everything* and gave it personally to Putin. Including everything about the military, new weapons, intelligence and operatives.

    3. @Jukka Järvinen Once they are no longer in power then, I agree with you that it will be easy but as long as they are in power, it will be close to impossible.

    4. @John PrivateLastName I agree with you. I am only one vote but I am voting for Democrats and luckily enough in Michigan we have some good ones. How about Tax Evasion. Even Al Capone couldn’t avoid that one.

    5. @Jonelle Patterson As you know, things are done one step at a time and, Democracy is built one vote at a time. The tax evasion point you brought up is quite likely to be one of his vulnerabilities. His ex attorney Cohen mentioned that it’s highly probable that he committed tax evasion. Anyway, once he is out of power, there is a Pandora’s box there of wrongdoings. Your vote has never been more important than in this election.

    1. Ding Bat – You must see the extreme angles Trump is forcing supporters to take in his defense. Re-read your comment, there’s a lot of paranoia there. Do you really believe everyone is lying except Trump?
Do you believe the NYT would run a story on Trump’s tax returns without having sufficient proof. Trump is one of the most litigious people, they would be opening themselves up for a defamation suit if they don’t have corroborating evidence.
What Trump is doing is going to bury the Republican Party for decades. Please, let go of the confirmational bias and look at what’s apparent. This country is ripping apart.

    2. @Aaron TK Ok, I’ll make it leftist simple then. Show any proof other than sore feelings and rumors. As for my text , look outside your liberal media and find out for yourself. The propaganda there feeding you has blinded you. But again dont take my text for it. Search for yourself.

    3. Ding Bat
I’m not a leftist. I rarely watch the news. I actually had hope for Trump in 2016. My friend, I think you’re seeing what you’d like to see. It’s a confirmational bias, we all do it, but we need to control how long we’re under it’s sway.
The mistrust Trump has created in the Republican Party is going to throw us into decades of Democrat leadership exclusively. Our country won’t function on a single party, we need checks and balances.
Let Trump and your preconceptions go.

    4. @Aaron TK So him doing more for this country of all races and economic statuses was better than the alternatives? Doubtful. Either way we can disagree but if you want change than vote. But it sounds to me like you make excuses without facts and that is typical of the left. I could be wrong but your not makeing a very good argument. So again be the change you want.

  3. To Americans
Look, you have never been under the rule of any dictators in your entire existence. But, my country of origin has never experienced any rule besides dictatorship. And believe me, it is not something you want to experience. It is like being under the complete control of a highly organized crime group. Murder and Corruption is the life line of the members and they live on the blood and sweat of the population. The only fear they have is losing control, and they will do ANYTHING to stay in power…I know, a strong man may give you assurance for your fears, but soon all your rights will crumble one by one until there is nothing left. In the end, their incompetence will drive the economy to the ground and will find yourself in a second rate banana republic.

    1. mike bradley No, that’s for the next nutter that follows on Trumps stance. He will be more effective than Trump because no one can be that imbecilic.

    2. The U.S.A. is now TrumpNation
Three scoops and a fourth after he’s re elected.
Then the indictments from the Barr/Durham report.

    3. Trump is revamping the republican party, bringing them back to their roots of freedom, god, constitution and family…Democrats and BLM wants to destroy the nuclear family, the constitution and religion

    1. @R L T your contribution is rather tiresome and childishly banal, try growing up and engage in adult life, it might help.

    2. @R L T Explain in detail your facts and logic on this and explain how Trump doesn’t suffer at all from his ability to be bought.

    3. @Mari Ann Shake Since you are making an assertion, explain in detail (with footnotes and links) substantiating evidence that Trump has accepted money or other things of value in exchange for favors or other considerations in his position as President of the United States. Once we have that….we will address your request.

    1. Harry William Yes this is a serious time for a strong vote for our democracy. No games, no red or blue and no issue of color Wake Up America. We are being stripped of our very heritage. Dump trump and breathe again in 2020

    1. One big difference there: Capone _admitted_ that he was a gangster.
The similarity (that I hope for): they both die in prison of venereal disease.

    2. 4 keys to STOP Trump from rigging our votes:

*1. Check your voter registration status NOW.*

County clerks in Republican districts across the country fraudulently purge voter rolls of legitimate Democrat voters prior to each election. In the 2014 mid-term election, I arrived at my local polling station only to discover I was no longer registered to vote, even though I had been a resident of my county and living at the same address for seven years. I was forced to cast a “provisional ballot,” which I suspect was not counted in the final vote tally. Since then, I have always verified my voter registration status well ahead of upcoming elections to ensure I have time to re-register in case of any Republican shenanigans. For more info: *Vote.org*

      *2. Vote early.*

In Republican states, there will no doubt be attempts to suppress voter turnout in Democratic districts by limiting the number of polling stations and reducing polling hours. This will likely be under the guise of protecting voters and polling workers from Covid-19 exposure.

Laws no doubt vary by state. In Texas, voters must vote at their designated polling location on Election Day. However, during the early voting period, voters can vote at *any open polling location in their county of residence.* This makes it more difficult for Republicans to target Democratic districts for poll closures and restricted hours. Find the early voting laws for your state, and vote as early as possible. This will point you in the right direction:
      Vote.org/early-voting-calendar/

*3. Use no-excuse absentee voting in states where it is available.*

“No excuse absentee voting” means you can request an absentee ballot from your state or county election official for any reason. Currently, 29 states offer no excuse absentee voting, including the most important swing states: Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. If your state is on this list, request an absentee ballot and mail it no later than October 20th to ensure it is received and counted:
      https://www.ncsl.org/research/elections-and-campaigns/vopp-table-1-states-with-no-excuse-absentee-voting.aspx

Mail in ballots can be dropped off at your local election board in most cases, or authorized ballot boxes at various locations in your state. That will lighten the burden on the Post Office that Trump has kneecapped.

To New Yorkers: New York State has Republican districts. Due to COVID-19, the legislature recently passed several bills to make it easier to request an absentee ballot. The date was moved up so you can request one today. You can use COVID-19 as a reason. For more information see: https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-cuomo-signs-law-sweeping-election-reforms#_blank

*4. Do NOT waste your vote.*

Yes, my fellow Americans, I am also frustrated by the two-party system, and I understand the appeal of underdog third-party candidates. You must realize, however, that a vote for a third-party candidate is effectively a vote for Trump. Don’t believe me? Just look at the numbers. Two states, Florida and Wisconsin, tipped the Electoral College for Trump in 2016. Trump won Florida by 113,000 votes and Wisconsin by a mere 23,000 votes. The top two third-party candidates, Gary Johnson and Dr. Jill Stein, captured 271,000 combined votes in Florida and 137,000 combined votes in Wisconsin. According to exit polls, the overwhelming majority of these votes were from disenfranchised Liberal voters who refused to vote for Hillary Clinton.

*We must be united in taking back our country* and protect our democracy. With tRump in power even voting is at stake! *VOTE **#BLUE**!* If you’re not sidin’ with Biden then you’re rootin’ for Putin! Please share this message as often as possible from now to Election Day. Say “NO” to dictatorship and more American deaths.
