  1. Of COURSE he has PTSD. They’re all gonna. Especially cuz they’re literally working with the enemy. It’s insane.

    1. @sissy murphy you thought it was ok when Trump did it, what’s with that?? Just changed you mind eh??

    2. @May Newzion LOOK TRUMP REUNITED THE CAGED CHILDREN HE WAS LEFT WITH FROM WHEN BIDEN GOT CAUGHT WITH IN 2014 . ALL THOSE CHILDREN WERE GIVEN BACK TO PARENTS AND FAMILY . BIDEN SAID TIME AND TIME AGAIN OPEN BORDER . MAYBE LOOK UP BIDENS CAGED CHILDREN FROM 2014 IT IS ON YOUTUBE AND 60 MINUTES RELEASED IT AND SO DID 48 HOURS AND BIDEN FAKED PICTURES

    3. @sissy murphy You’re woefully uninformed. Trump’s white supremacist, Stephen Miller, was the architect of Trump’s policy to intentionally separate young children from their parents and orphan them without a coherent policy to reunite families.

    1. @Pierre Duf Waters did NOT incite violence like trump has done, trump had done it all 4 years and more so closer to election.

    2. @Pierre Duf I know what I heard from both of them, what Waters said was NOTHING compared to trump

    3. @Pierre Duf and those that I posted were just a few over the 4 years now the last part is from election year.

And throughout the country, Asian Americans faced violence due to fears about the coronavirus. Trump has repeatedly used a racist name for the virus, calling it the “Chinese flu” or the “Chinese virus.” It’s one of many ways he has downplayed Covid-19 and cast blame elsewhere for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans, many of whom are people of color.

On October 8, a few days after being released from Walter Reed Medical Center, where he was treated for the virus, Trump released a video in which he again blamed China. “China’s going to pay a big price for what they’ve done to this country,” Trump said.

September 1, 2020: Before traveling to Kenosha, Trump said he was going to the city to show support for law enforcement. He did not visit Blake’s family or mention Blake by name. Instead, he said the officer who shot him must have “choked.”

October 8, 2020: Six men face conspiracy charges in a plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. As Vox’s Andrew Prokop reported, “the conspirators were in contact with a militia group based in Michigan — training in tactics and weapons with the group, and attempting to build an explosive device with a militia group member.” The men were reportedly angry about Whitmer’s coronavirus shutdown policies.

In August, Trump had tweeted “LIBERATE MICHIGAN” after the state instituted a stay-at-home order to combat the pandemic. In response to the FBI’s investigation of the kidnapping plot, Trump demanded that Whitmer thank him. And he chastised Whitmer for the very thing that the conspirators targeted her for — taking action against the spread of a deadly virus that Trump has waved off as a threat.

Trump told listeners, “You will never take back our country with weakness.” (Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani also delivered a speech in which he encouraged “trial by combat.”) He encouraged them to head to the Capitol to support objections to certification of the vote.

  2. That’s the issue most of these senators were very well protected thats why they make light of what we saw on TV and could actually defend Trump. So sad.

    1. Kind of like the Republicans attacked last summer! No outrage there! Not one of these idiots were hurt! Lots of people were over the summer though!

  3. Millions of Americans in lockdown also watched the capitol insurrection unfold in real time on livestream channels. That MAGA woman being carried out of that capitol meatgrinder on a stretcher….can’t say I have PTSD, but the image haunts me. I’ll never forget it.

    1. @David Galehouse He’s just another cookie-cutter, right-wing troll, who created his sock puppet account a month ago.

    2. ALL THE LIBTURDS IN THIS THREAD WHO HAVE “PTSD” MAKE ME LOL YOU FOOLS DO KNOW THAT THE “INSURRECTION” WAS CAUSED BY BLM/ANTIFA, RIGHT?

  4. I’m so touched! Please fight for the access to mental health treatments for all Americans sir. God bless you and thank you for your amazing courage to share this with us!!

  5. this is a meaningful first step, SO much more needs to be shown, talked about, remembered and processed from that event, this needs to be a long drawn out therapy for our country, America is either going to come out of its adolescence or destroy itself under the weight of its confusion/delusion

    1. @kathy mcallister rioting is nothing new, an attack on our Capitol is quite a bit more serious. I wonder why you don’t know that? Or maybe you do and don’t care

    2. @Mimzy Jinx not sure what you are asking? are we going to prosecute everyone that breaks laws? yes. is trauma ongoing? yes.

    3. @ღSwnsasyღ _ I usually give naysayers the benefit of the doubt and see if they want to have a discussion, and if Im just feeding a troll it helps me work on my karma at least hehe 🙂 ♥️

    4. @kathy mcallister yes let us get everyone therapy to help them process fears and anguish, why would that be an issue you would think I would say no to? ♥️

  6. Thank you Congressman for sharing this information with us. It is very important that people who have experienced trauma are able to identify it and understand that there is help to minimize their symptoms.

    1. I’m traumatized that politicians are traumatized over learning that they are so hated. Especially politicians of the Left’s fascist wing.

  7. Just hope that he’s able to consolidate this experience and use it to bring a voice to the service men and women who suffer daily from war time trauma. This is a chance for him to bring awareness to the need for more access to mental health providers

    1. Agreed. Mental health issues are so much more prevalent than people want to acknowledge and with how inaccessible medical care is, especially mental health, it’s just hurting these people more and more. Trauma needs to be taken more seriously.

    1. @Bryce Brogan They’re working on it, Trump and Don Jr are all Lawyering up because of the Lawsuits that several Representatives are bringing under the Klan Act, under preventing Elected officials from doing their Constitutional Duties using either threats of or actual violence, to overturn a free and election clause and then Looney Rudy Giuliani is being Sued by Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic for deformation as Trump is, but Rudy is also involved a Lawsuit under the 2nd Enforcement Act usually used alongside the Klan Act, for denying the Constitutional Rights of people on the grounds of their race or political affiliation, because he was trying to get the African American citizens votes thrown out in multiple States because to Trump they “Must be Fraudulent” so he gets hit with it too, because he brought the original Lawsuit and Trump’s “Perfect Call” to the SoS of Georgia and Pennsylvania although only the Georgia Call is being investigated at the moment, Trump’s literally got 29 Lawsuits against him and at least 2 criminal cases against him, Cy Vance is working on Trump’s Financial Information and Taxes, maybe they will find out which Foreign Government Trump owes money to…

    1. @Pierre Duf
      Not a deflection gramps.
He’s lacking any legitimate source to support his argument.
      Just political personal rhetoric.
How’s your new account working out for you?

    2. Maybe you’re just a fool but here is a lesson youngster.. that was a deflection. New account is great.. thanks for asking. Sorry I haven’t been on here for years…

  8. Immediately following the incident I offered my services dealing with PTSD to my state representatives as well as others from other states who I knew to be particularly impacted. I have not heard from anyone. Perhaps now, along with the video, more representatives, staff and family members will feel more able to acknowledge they need support reach and out to a trauma informed therapist.

    1. Maybe they will think about making laws to stop mass shooters at schools and other public places. The most of Americans cannot get trauma informed therapists and the time off to get it too. As they clutch their pearls….

  9. As a person who has suffered with PTSD I knew that there would be some so frightening for their life that day, that would eventually suffer with PTSD from their horrific experience that day. To think Trump pushed this act of treason through his seemingly willing followers so that he could illegally overturn a lawful election.

  10. I thought my Mantram repetition class at the VA (prior to the pandemic) was very helpful in reducing my symptoms.
Om na ma si va ya!

  11. Mr.Kildee is my wonderful representative💖💖 still helping his constituents. Blessing to you and your family. Thank you💖

    1. I HEARD FROM FRIENDS IN HIS DISTRICT THAT HE’S ONE OF THE WORST EVER, JUST LIKE YOUR GOVERNOR. IF YOU VOTE DUMMIES LIKE HIM INTO OFFICE, YOU SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO VOTE

  12. Well I watched both 9/11 live and 1/6 live, so I understand on some level. Still traumatized from watching people jump from those buildings to this day. It must be something on a different level though to experience it firsthand.

    1. Exactly, and just by chance I too turned on Good Morning America on 09/11/2001 and saw the second plane crash into the World Trade Center live — I didn’t watch any news again for years after that horrific day. The insurrection against the Capital didn’t hit me as profoundly as 9/11, because I knew something was going to happen just from reading the comments on YouTube. It’s all very disheartening though, because people on the inside also knew, and they intentionally under staffed D.C. hoping the take over would be successful for D.T.

  13. they cleaned this up too quickly….we needed more photos of what these pigs left in their wake……all politicians still spreading that big lie, should’ve had to clean it up themselves, including the feces.

  14. I’m being treated for PTSD and Anxiety with therapy and Zoloft I can function almost normal most days I give the man credit for publicly talking about it I know I could never do it

  15. There are at least dozens, probably hundreds more who were there Jan 6 and suffering PTSD. I can remember faces and their interviews expressing their fears and shocks. And the worry their families express when they leave for work.

  16. Thank you very much for making yourself vulnerable. Many Americans will be able to identify with your feelings through their own experiences. Then you don’t feel so alone and anxious.
